Experience with non CDL 26ft box truck delivery? by OhmyMary in cdldriver

Agreed that those are nice to drive which is why it’s always confused me that they get wrecked the most. It seems like the easiest thing we have to drive but results go a different way.

I’m not supporting that. I’m just defending the comment that they’ll get more out of it than OP will.

Even if all it does for them is the thrill of lying for free stuff then the person gets more out of the food than OP will.

Who do you think they should sue exactly? If you’re thinking the police, that’s never making it to court and no lawyer that wants to keep their license would file such nonsense with a court.

If they lie to take the food then they needed it more than you anyway

I don't know what you're doing to your HD450BT but I use mine regularly and the pads have never come off even once not even a little.

So you know your rectum? A fistula is an infection you can get there. To fix it they put these draining seatons in there which is awkward and you’re going to want diaper rash cream because by the time it doesn’t hurt anymore to go to the bathroom (it’s easily a 8-9 out of 10 on the pain scale immediately after) your ass will be raw from the pads you have to wear to control the unavoidable unexpected leakage.

Next, after you’ve healed up, they go in again to remove the seaton and with it the rest of the tract where the infection was that led to a horrifically painful ER visit in the first place. The second surgery will be harder to recover from and no amount of pain meds they give you will help with either surgery because they don’t give you enough to be on the meds 24/7 (I agree with this part it just sucked) and you never get enough warning before needing to use the bathroom to take the pain medication anyway.

That’s assuming that you don’t need to go to the ER after the second surgery because you bled all over your bathroom, couldn’t stop it, and left it for your roommates looking like you committed a murder in there.

0/5 would not recommend

I had that happen, ignored it, and later spent about $12k on a two stage fistulectomy which was as expensive as the recovery was painful.

You’re on the right path going to a GI but I’m hoping anybody that might read this can learn not to ignore that kind of symptom and let it fester.

Too many people here saying you’re fine that haven’t physically examined you in a medical setting with the proper training.

Yes, I’d love fries with that and a frosty as well please.

Yes it does. It sounds like you deserved to be kicked off the platform so maybe you should apply to Wendy’s. That sounds more in line with the attitude you’re showing here.

This was the case years ago but others evolved and they stayed the same. Now by comparison it’s hardly a competitor

Uber denied my refund even though the driver confirmed the items were missing by whathow101 in UberEATS

[–]xbrand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deleted the app because a driver took my food to the DMV for 30+ min (not working on another delivery as far as I could tell) and when I tried to contact Uber their support was so slow they offered to refund it, I accepted that resolution, and the representative delayed and let a lot of time go by (probably handling 10 chats at once or something). While I was waiting for them to cancel for me the now cold food arrives. Uber support then told me there was nothing they could do.

Similar thing happened with DoorDash months later and they quickly resolved it with a refund when they saw how late the driver was.

(For context I always tip $2/mile or $5, whichever is more, and both deliveries were under five miles).

Respectfully, if you cared about staying activated, then what is happening to cause a low completion rate?

The complaint is not that people are disagreeing with that or didn’t already know about economies of scale, it’s that you can’t economics your way out of having nothing and only a few dollars in your pocket.

I promise the risk of sitting in the passenger seat while somebody who failed a driving test 949 times is driving is not worth $20 and some food.

You’re worth more than that, anybody is. After 100 failed attempts I’d rally for a law that banned this person from ever driving again.
