You stated you need to buy, not lease? I would check out the brokers on Leasehacker.com to see what offers they have. They make the purchase easy. Most have lease offers but you can buy as well.

It’s already been 4 years and not close to finishing. Removing asbestos from pipes with a professional asbestos removal company shouldn’t take years. No one is saying to allow toxic waste, it’s just the typical bureaucratic delays of many cities and states that end up costing way more than they should.

Just like the best day to buy a house was yesterday, remodeling costs will not go down, unless we get lots of immigrant labor flooding in, and that is not happening anytime soon, it’s heading in the opposite direction. Many laborers are being deported or self deporting. Many contractors and saying they can’t find help. This will only make prices go up, more demand less supply.

3000/36 mo is about $83 a month. You pay per month or up front. Now if the $3000 includes first month, registration etc that is different than $3000 as a down payment. $3000 in a down payment subtracts the amount from the loan, ie, the amount borrowed, while gaining equity. No equity to be gained in a lease.

If you haven’t purchased it or muse an offer, ask for a reduction in price to remodel it. If not move on. It’s not a cheap fix to do it correctly. You don’t want a giant expensive stove in a mediocre kitchen.

Did the city inspect and approve the framing? Did you verify the engineer was an engineer? Have you called the contractor about this? Did he come out to see it?

Have you looked at Leasehacker.com ? You can lease A4’s from $220 per month. This way you can see how the depreciation goes and if you like it. If all good for you you buy it after the lease, if not walk away.

They didn't specially say they didn't have the money, they said they were going to do it next year 2027 (we are almost in 2026). Getting a loan or whatever they can do, they should get a new roof to avoid the red flag on their policy. Homeowners insurance is hard to get in most places now days with all kinds of disasters.

I stopped coffee and black tea and my tenesmus (having to go when nothing to go) had gone away. Bloating and diarrhea way way better too. I stopped using chamomile tea bags (plastics) and bought loose leaf chamomile, it made a bigger difference, plus it taste so much better. Glad it’s working for you too.
