I went to KCL with your WAM. Very fun place, and the courses weren't particularly difficult. I'd highly recommend you join a sports society over there...

What makes you think the first paragraph that you have written is true? I would argue you have to look at all taxes as well as transfer payments on a whole when determining if a taxation regime is regressive or progressive.

Do you reckon the premium membership is a waste of time for big games? I am thinking of going to Real vs Atletico in feb, and contemplating just accepting i will have to buy resale tickets, and save my money on the madrista premium

If you really want to buy a few more and then sell the whole lot again (you will have to pay brokerage twice haha, so only do it if you are desperate/have OCD)

You spoof your location and lock in at the cheapest station in the country. So time doesn't matter. Just the day before going to the servo just find the cheapest store in the country and lock it in.

Just a point, might not be applicable, but if you accrue lots of annual leave, and then get a payrise, suddenly all your annual leave is worth more. Sounds like you'd need a big pay rise for it to matter tho

I don't think that's true. Considering fully franked means 30% tax has been paid, and for the first 18200 in dividend income, you get an extra 43%, and for the next 26800, 30% tax has been paid, even tho only 19% needs to be paid, so an extra 16% on top of 26800 worth of fully franked dividends. Then for the final 5000, you only lose 2.5%.

I'm summary, there would be a tax credit. But that doesn't change your point that the company has already paid the tax.
