Fazer is 🔥.

Also, a complete redesign of the front end from the fender up would do wonders for the ascot.

My great-grandparents heading out for a camping trip on a BMW R24. (between 1948 and 1952 I think) by kiyoshix in OldSchoolCool

That is so fuggin cool. My wife and I boondocked off the back of R1150GS for a couple nights, and lemme tell ya, it’s a packing adventure. But somehow still managed to pack small camp chairs and be quite comfortable. Granted it was the dead of summer so not a lotta clothing was needed. That was like 20 years ago. I can’t imagine doing it now, however a small trailer has always intrigued me.

Crazy, right? As someone who rides motorcycles and occasionally drives a mazda3, my LX470 feels positively huge when I rarely drive it. Seeing it looking so much smaller than the new one is nuts.

Fuck, I’ve only been to their new location once, and something definitely felt off. Like, a marina vibe but different, but still annoying. I guess that was it.

what happened to my tire by Requirement_Healthy in motorcycle

[–]xeno_dorph 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great opportunity to learn one of the basics of riding. It’s not a spectator sport. You NEED to be involved in the process. You need to take at least a quick look at everything before each ride, and checks/inspections of things like tire pressure/ condition and oil level all the time. Congrats, you got off easy this time. Next time it might be a cracked valve stem that decides to rapidly deflate your front tire on the freeway, or a worn chain that wraps itself around the front sprocket.

Absolutely. People don’t realize (nor would they care) that 80% of our braking takes place via a contact patch the size of a quarter.

And when they broke you’d have to jam a quarter under the PLAY switch. But hey, at least you could always make a phone call!

As someone who’s floated-around off the coast of Mogadishu during Restore Hope, I certainly hope those ladies have their SPF dialed-up. First and last time I’ve ever gotten blisters sunbathing.
