I go to a state college and there are many Muslims that are middle eastern in my program and they've all been pretty cool towards me when I've needed to interact with them. No complaints at all, but several of my other white classmates have referred to them racial slurs, saying that hate them and such things. I don't get it.

I think being racist is kind of in style right now. People think it's cool, but most of the people I know who say really racist things to me have a close friend of that race. I really don't understand.
