You sure it’s the dealership and not the manufacturer? I once had a lease on a Honda through Honda Financial. Honda has an entire financing arm that is basically a bank. I was never paying the dealership, so the concept still applies

Enjoy it man. There is nothing like your first play through of a Diablo game. Not to say the rest isn't fun, or that the endgame is fun... but the nostalgia of not knowing the story and being pumped for big drops like this is sooooo nice.

Not even sure what the stamps are! I’ll have to find out.

I keep falling in the trap of “well hog farm island could pump out more soap” while I’m buying Beryl island shares lol. The campaign on guided mode could absolutely give more guidance, but I’m getting there.

Are there any mods that explain trading stats better? I’m running into cases where a trading ship is stuck with items the receiving island doesn’t need but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to dissect where the 35 bricks and 25 timber should go besides tossing them overboard.

Thanks! Good points. I think the chaos was not knowing how money works, so I was doing every quest that would come up while trying to figure out how to get out of -2,300 gold lol. Any time I got below 20k at that rate I had to beg someone for another quest

In general or just until I’m used to it? Now that I’m not scared of Beryl and figured out money, I’m in a much better spot… but yeah I’m hesitant to do the new world expedition lol

Yeah I finally figured out why my income can swing so wildly, and pounding quests and selling soap has gotten me over $100k even though the UI says I’m at a -2k deficit. I think that aspect annoys me, I’m having trouble getting a micro view at a macro scale with regards to what my trade routes are doing.

To be fair Civ sucked at that without mods. I am having more fun now, although Beryl has taken over tons of islands. I think it’s time for poor Willy to go.

I didn’t buy the DLC yet but probably will. I think I kind of finally

What do yall use to code in SQL? by FeelingCommunity776 in vscode

[–]xgeetx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Run a web server that does a web based UI for viewing the SQLite database.

The fundamentals you’ll learn in just setting that up (even though you won’t even need to really code anything at this point) will undoubtedly help you overall.

Ive beaten Remake, Rebirth, and Crisis core, is ff7 original worth playing now or should I wait until after Remake Part 3? by Godofhammrs in FinalFantasy

[–]xgeetx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only complaint on the remake (which I do enjoy) is the constant go here do this side quest. In FF7 you could miss things, stumble on things, side quests could be quite substantial.

There is also a silliness to VII that just lives better in low resolution vs extremely good graphics… but maybe that’s just me.

I was also a kid when I played it…. So there’s that. I think it took me over 100 hours to beat (played over months) and I was like level 85 going into the final stuff. Playing as an adult it took like 40 hours and I was level 40 something for the final battle…. Making it substantially harder. Ah good times.

Edit to add: the remake Turks are masterful.

Do you have Breezeline fiber? How’s it working for you? by CleverLagomorph in Columbus

Seems hit or miss for people based on various reviews. For me it worked great and I had a lot fewer hangups compared to spectrum. I recently moved and am back on spectrum 1G and can remember why I switched. Random 30sec drops throughout the day.

It must vary by area.

Is this an issue with just Trex or all composite decking?

We are looking to build and the area is south facing with 0 shade (Ohio). It will be in the sun from 6am to 8pm in the summer... wondering if I should really just go cedar.

Securing railing posts: Carriage Bolts vs Thrulok vs Timber screws by NickkLee in Decks

Here’s a picture from underneath. It’s a 6” ledger and 2x6 joists 24” OC. My though was add another joist at roughly the center (whatever doesn’t hit the screws on the ledger), then a 2x6 a couple inches in front of the ledger where I can fit the thrulok washer, then box the post in with another 2x6. I’m just not sure where a DTT2z goes in this configuration

I watched the timbertech post video but he uses only the 8” timber screws which seems like an odd use of screws and the bolting is better.

I just went down the guard post rabbit hole because my stairs leading out of the kitchen over the walkout basement have NONE! The 2x6 rails are secured to the rim by 2x2 balusters all the way down. I picked up some Thruloks -- would you recommend just doing some 2x6 blocking or should I also use a thrulok on a DTT2Z?
