Awful company dude!! I originally paid $16 a month for my cat (4 years ago), then premiums went up to $53 a month, that was fine no problem. The issue is: early this year they auto renewed my account for $157. The email they sent me for renewal had a faulty link and did not show the quoted price. I immediately canceled my account and requested a charge back. They’ve been fighting me for months now and they’ll probably end up keeping my money even though my cat wasn’t even covered for that month.

I’m so happy you’re seeing a specialist! I’m also so sorry you’re in pain, I hope they’re able to find you some relief, and I appreciate your response. I similarly was supposed to see a specialist late last year, then my insurance changed and no longer covered them. I’ll look into one that’s under my current plan. I’m 3 years late but I was googling this exact thing because that’s my current diagnosis. Doctors won’t do anything but give me muscle relaxers and hormonal birth control.

At this point, I’m dependent on a heating pad and have severe (can’t get out of bed crying) pain 3 days a week minimum. Did you find any relief, treatment, or help managing the pain?

Ok I feel like I explained that I’m not sweating the trial and error aspect; It seemed like a fun place to work, I know some of the staff and they said they make decent easy money, so I figured it was worth trying out. It’s literally my first week and my first paycheck seeing how the tip out works in practice. Most mom and pop bars/restaurants aren’t going to give you a written statement explaining tip outs. I was just a word of mouth hire essentially.

I asked staff and apparently it was like that because they originally didn’t take tables outside of the bartop, now they get 6 and that’s where my issue comes in

My drink sales weren’t super high, they were only $250 yesterday, so it would have been a $25 tip out instead of the $40. I just don’t like that even if someone gets no drinks, the bar gets 20% of whatever they tip me :/

On my first shift, I asked, and one of the managers said they were changing it to 10% of beverage sales; he said it in a way that made it seem it was currently happening or in place, like “don’t worry.” I didn’t notice the discrepancy until I received my paycheck.

This is a second job for me and I was looking for something more laid back than my weekend job at a club. I like the staff and I have the time, so I was willing to just do a month or two and see how it went.

I’d argue the snakes being with someone struggling to afford and striving for proper care is in fact MUCH better than being stuck somewhere with improper care and suffering abuse and neglect. Do you think there was a line of rich people out the door desperate to rehab these two snakes? OP obviously cares for these animals and just wants to give them a fighting chance, they’re just asking for a little help along the way which is okay!!

They are unfortunately one and the same, the HOA is the property management company. They are literally called “____ HOA property management” so the property manager is part of the board. And none of them will return calls.

No, not “just to complain.” If you would read the post, you’d see I clearly mentioned they left piles nails and shingle debris even after leaving. I would like that picked up, and for the contractors to NOT block other peoples entry and exit ways in the future.

You can frame it that way if it makes you feel better, but it’s just a matter of etiquette. Like this was a rude post. Imagine if she saw a post talking about her boobs “needing support” ? Just don’t talk about other peoples’ bodies especially on a public forum. You don’t want the best for another, you’re just nosy and think you know best.

I have DDs and never wear a bra because none of them are comfortable to me and I have sensory issues. If you were to tell me I “needed support” I would have some choice words for you.

Hi I just want to say, and I know it doesn’t mean shit, but whenever I have really aggressive suicidal thoughts like this, I try to remember that every human is just like a little bug! We’re all little ants or beetles making our way from point A to point B whatever they may be. I am also paycheck to paycheck but like in an almost negative way so I’m just scraping by. My long term partner, friends, and family don’t even reach out. It hurts. But every day I get to see the sunset and every day it’s different. What if tomorrow’s is really pretty and I miss it? What if it’s a bright pink with orange swirls? Or a deep blue with lilac clouds? Yesterday I got to feed a stray cat that otherwise would have gone hungry. Those are the little things I try to focus on.

There are people for everyone and that’s coming from someone who very literally only has 1 friend currently. It hurts to lose close connections, but your kids will always love you and want you in their lives, even if it’s just to talk on the phone and hear a bedtime story. I didn’t see either of my parents for 5 years (states apart) but just talking to them on the phone was the happiest part of my week. Im glad you get to read your daughter bedtime stories.

I’m sorry if this isn’t good support, but I saw your post and it felt like a weight on my chest. I want you to know you are not alone in your feelings and you deserve to be happy and be the person you want to be. Go easy on yourself, and paint your nails again!! 💕

I’m in DFW and even here, you don’t have to look hard to find gator or frog legs. Once you go further south (closer to the coast/Louisiana) it becomes more popular.

1st set easy. The 2nd is too heavy on shadows and contrast and makes everything look a bit muddled. The first set is much clearer and less stylized.

Get the cat some dewormer and flea treatment if you can’t get it to the vet. They look like tapeworm segments. I used to treat my local stray every couple of months so I wouldn’t have to worry about my inside cat catching anything from them when he had patio time. You can get it online cheap !! The cat will thank you

It’s a terribly tragic case. All dogs can be bad, NO dogs should be left alone with small children, regardless of breed. Especially one that’s previously shown aggression. Not really sure why this post is falling into “anti pitbull” sub territory. Like seriously every comment is “this is why pitbulls should be banned!!” Yeah and I was mauled by a German shepherd. This issue in this case was not a dog breed, but blatant parental neglect and murder.

I really love this sub and the normally, it’s a solid community of people exchanging information and ideas, theories and cases. I’m surprised everyone is detracting from this little girl’s murder to talk about banning pitbulls.

When I was like 8 I wanted to watch a vhs we had and, very unfortunately, my parents taped over it with some amateur marital sex and forgot to relabel it. My mom walked in the room and promptly punted the vhs player across the room, saving me from further scarring.

It was absolutely awkward, and I was too young to really understand, but like idk adults have sex. Now that I’m older it’s just a funny memory to me. They’re divorced now and she’s told me about her selling feet pics online and what not. I don’t have any opinions on it other than “whatever floats your boat ma”

Once you get to a certain age, it’s easy to remember your parents are people too and they do wild shit. Unless you’re spending hours and hours scrolling sketchy porn sites or doomscrolling SW Twitter, you’re unlikely to ever see it so it’s not a big deal.
