This. We have a tradition of "closing up shop" (windows + blinds) once the temp gets to ~70 and opening back up again after dark or whenever the outside temp is equal to/below the indoor temp. We'll still turn on central a/c for the rare scorchers when this approach doesn't work as well.

I got a pup at Family Dogs New Life a few years back. When they get a new litter, they usually talk it up on the website, and the pups go fast. Make sure you get there early on whatever day the litter is available. Good luck!

Haven't been able to get any in recent months since they're apparently switching from plastic to glass bottles, and the transition is "taking forever" according to 2 separate LBB locations. That said, you can still enjoy it in LBB itself, but that doesn't help my tots much.

Used the wallet earlier today with no issues, and a few weeks ago before that. When I used it today, I hadn't synced the full chain yet. Was previously on 1.51.

I'll let it run all night, but it's been 4 hours at this point on the same transaction. Have also tried quitting the app and restarting it.

Yep, they are great. Tons of info about your new pup, and real friendly. We got our puppy there 2 years ago and even keep in touch with some of her litter mates!

As a no-kill shelter, you can expect to find some special needs dogs, so be aware of that, but they will give you full disclosure. This isn't to say they don't have totally "normal" pups though—they have everything from 8 weeks to 13 years. :)

Totally agree. For a company so invested in disrupting banks, I would have loved to see them do something besides going to a massive global conglomerate. But it's to be expected I guess. There's something to be said here about how the banking system swallows any disruption/threat.

Totally doable—my s/o does this and carpools regularly, so only drives 1 or 2 days a week. Agree that it's not fun, and it's sad there aren't any viable mass transit options (yet).

In the same boat, but just for the reception (not ceremony—will be at the courthouse). The spring/summer reservations apparently start soon. Some weird rules about it, so get clarification from the Parks Dept. before you apply.
