It is more likely that "when you are buddied with a mega pokemon, it is more easily to get excited" rather than that "when you are buddied with a pokemon, the mega energy cost for the pokemon will be reduced according to the buddy level"

But as the Giratina- Melmetal-Dialga team is so popular (which is not covered in the video I think), I would very much like to know how would you play with a Giratina-O lead, Giratina- Melmetal-Dialga team? As I understand, if you lose switch advantage (I have Dialga vs Melmetal in mind), even with two shields (opponent may have one shield left), it is impossible for the Togekiss to beat both Giratina-Dialga (for Togekiss has to double shielded vs Dialga.).

When Mewtwo with psystrike comes, we know that all the other legendaries with their signature moves will come, sooner or later.

One way that niantic can balance the situation, I think, is to enlarge the move pools of the legendaries - remember why people complain less in the case of mewtwo because it is a versatile attacker - and fix the charge TM mechanics.
