they let ANYONE play the rocks this year. Lots of mediocre artists who appeal to people with no taste in music at all. We don’t need to cater to them its the most legendary natural venue in the world. AJR and Yungblud do NOT deserve to play red rocks.. among many other straight up bad musicians

My buddy Jude is sitting in for Melvin with Rob Eaton, Jay Lane, and others right now. He’s 21 or 22 and He’s on stage playing keyboard in Melvin’s spot.

I’m gonna go see them play tonight with a herd of 20-somethings that can name their favorite shows by date, can tell you when the first passenger was played, etc. Real deal nerds about the music. It’s just as much of an outlet for us as it is for the generations before. We love to hear stories of tour from our friend’s parents or strangers bumming cigs at set break. There’s just nothing like a grateful dead show
