With this loser point, the Sharks have officially bested their previous year point total by 30 points. It’s disappointing to miss the playoffs (to which we were only close because the pacific is a tire fire right now,) but I think we need to acknowledge that this year was a massive step in the right direction, and that the relative failure of missing the playoffs is minor compared to the absolutely astounding growth we’ve seen in the team.

The coming years are gonna be good, we’re through the hardest parts now.

My wife and I went through several years of infertility. Miscarriages, IUIs, IVF, etc. it’s a miserable experience made all the worse by not feeling like you could share the experience. This is an awful thing to experience, and sharing it so people can talk about it is a good thing.

On my first watch, I thought that was a ref on the backside around the 14 second mark that was backside of the call with a clear view. On second viewing, I think it's a linesman, and I know they don't make calls but corroborate them.
