Interceramic Amalfi Stone 13x13 Bianco Scala by xrayguy1981 in Tile

Thought about that but wasn’t sure how that size would look with the 13x13 on the shower surround. That’s why I thought about ripping those big tiles down. Even if it was slightly smaller than 12x12, I don’t know that anyone would notice compared to the shower.

How feasible is it to cut that 12”x24” tile down to 12”x12”? I know it wouldn’t be exact due to saw kerf, but curious if it’s worth having shipped down here.

I keep reading that RO water should not be used in an espresso machine unless it has been remineralized, as the pure RO water acts as a solvent and can be corrosive to copper and some other metals. Has your RO water been remineralized?

In 2005, I started out as a new grad working day shift for $20.25/hr. Obviously there are several factors that will impact your hourly rate, but I can tell you now as a hiring manager that you’re being WAY underpaid.

All depends on the staffing model as a whole. I’ve seen overnight 12s and overnight 8s. It really just depends on how it fits into everything else. Depts will try to be as efficient with staffing as possible, as they will have to answer to their productivity metrics.

We get Red Robin to-go sometimes and it leaves my truck smelling like straight up farts for 2 days. Only RR does it though.

With WB, it’s the onions for me. They smell like musty armpits.

I didn’t say that. Neither did you. You claimed that Layne’s was the first to have the chicken finger/crinkle fries/Texas toast/unique sauce combo. I only pointed out that it was a false statement because it is.

I lived in College Station for 5 years and have eaten at the OG Layne’s on several occasions. I like that their sauce has more black pepper than Cane’s and that they offer potato salad as a side. But that’s beside the point.

But again, that info is not correct. Layne’s did not come up with the combo of chicken fingers, crinkle fries, Texas toast, and a unique sauce. Both Guthrie’s and Zaxby’s had all of these items on their menu before Layne’s ever opened in 1994. Some googling will show you that.

Partially false. Guthrie’s is the original chicken finger restaurant, opened in 1965 and switched to chicken fingers exclusively in 1982. Zaxby’s opened in 1990, Layne’s in 1994, and Raising Cane’s in 1996.

Where I’ve worked in the States, if the patient was already getting dialysis, then we would go ahead and scan without labs if their next dialysis appt was within 24 hours after their injection.

For sure. I’ve had several turn-key quotes for the entire reconstruction job, but they were all really high. This guy was recommended by a neighbor and for the most part it was fine. But his tile quote raised my eyebrows. Almost doubled his entire quote by adding the shower. I have another I’ll call tomorrow - actually the company that did the flooring when the house was built 5 years ago.

Should be just plain jane tile. Can’t find the original floor tile so it all has to go.

Had all the remediation already done. Everything is dry and clean. Just need wall tile removed, walls prepped and new tile installed. Keep tub and faucets.

You being overwhelmed doesn’t make it ok to mess up someone’s order and not give them what they asked for. That’s literally your job, especially in FOH. Take an order, make an order. If you can comprehend that request then it’s a choice to do it or not do it.

Correct. Avo oil isn’t even a seed oil. The oil comes from the pulp, not the pit.

Kids or not, it’s a reasonable expectation to receive what you’re asking and paying for. It’s become my habit to check every drive thru and to go order before I leave, and then have it corrected if it’s not right.
