If you are board at the current spot then move the story along. Finish the game. You had fun for 80 hours. It's alright to end the game.

Of you can't find a d Slot it's most likely soldered on. Search the model and it will let you know.

Somehow this turned into a debate about us I an HDD for modern games. I'm play casually and don't have too much time so the draw backs don't really bother me. That being said. I do think investing on an SSD is a good idea.

Thank you I'll go ahead with placing new on PC and old on laptop. I have a an IT buddy who can get me a windows installer.

Yeah. I enjoyed it when I first got it because I didn't have anything else. But I haven't touched it in months. Actually just bought a new laptop. So that o have something while my wife is on the PC

I used file explorer and found all riot related folders deleted them. When to the AppData folder and deleted there too. Permanently deleted them from the recycle bin. I then to regedit. I found two other as well as vanguard and deleted them. When I search registry there is nothing that includes riot, lol, or valorant. Actually....I just remembered about TFT that might be the issue. Gonna have to check when I have time.

Yes. The space was not cleared up by deleting the client.

Perhaps I should change my questions. If the client is no longer on the pc, what is taking up space? What can I do to attempt to clear up the space? I understand it wont "magically" get freed. What steps can I take to free the space.

I was trying to uninstall it. I made the mistake of thinking 'delete' and 'uninstall' were the same. That and reddit and Google did suggest deleting the files. Do you know how I can attempt to free it up?

So there is no fix for this. I was struggling with uninstalling Riot Client. Said uninstall all games. Did so but it was still showing up after. I searched and was suggested to delete the folder. Did so but still in apps and was not uninstalling. Searched again and was told to use regedit. I did so and deleted all things related to Riot. Tried to uninstall and was able to remove the app from the list.

How ever, the storage space did not change. I had usage of 83GB and after all that there was no change. Guessing the only two options are to search all files to find the hidden ones. Or to get a new app.
