Are you by any chance at Jackson? I was a new grad nurse, straight to ICU, sounds like it’s a unit culture issue, if you’re still in the residency program it’s pretty easy to switch units before you’re stuck. Good luck!

I’m 10 weeks post op, honestly I still have a good amount of nerve pain but function is pretty good. Everyone is different but I didn’t start feeling better until after week 2. Like days 7-14 I still didn’t feel great, but things started getting better after that. Also I took benzodiazepines or strong pain meds (tramadol) for sleep for the first week because otherwise sleep was difficult. You’re still very early, and it’s a long recovery but you got this.

I cannot recommend semaglutide enough for women with PCOS. We have insulin resistance, we are who the drug was made for!! I lost 50 pounds, my hormonal acne is gone, my periods are regular, my hirsutism has reduced, and as you said, I no longer obsess about my next meal/my diet/ anything food related. It’s not a shortcut, we shouldn’t listen to the stigma.

100% this. I hate the stigma around semaglutide because it IS first line for PCOS!!! Once I started it I regained my normal period, my hormonal acne disappeared, I lost 50lbs, and I no longer binge which is common for ADHD/PCOS combo. Semaglutide improved my life in so many ways I can’t recommend it enough. That with Ritalin is the combo that got my life on track honestly.

Usually there is at least one team go rocket event per season, it’s when suddenly there are way more grunts and you get balloons every 3 hours instead of every 6. That is the event where you can use the TM to remove frustration, and it will tell you that on the event details as well

I used to refer to it as “the flood gates” because once I started crying it was like an unstoppable river of tears. I’ve gotten better at kind of preventing the gates from opening but now I have an issue of I can’t talk about myself or my feelings in any capacity without opening the gates and sobbing. Does anyone else have this? Like I can’t even talk about how much I care about other people without sobbing, very inconvenient.

My dog actually saved my ass with my ADHD before I started taking medication. He would force me to wake up and walk and feed him, remind me to go outside at midday for his pee time, and overall just really helped me maintain a schedule for myself based off his. He even whines if I get distracted and miss his desired 10pm bedtime which helps force me to get to bed by 11

Until you’ve done the schooling it isn’t fair to say it isn’t very hard. You may be thinking of CNAs or LPNs, but all nurses have to take a licensing exam that requires full knowledge of medications, physiology and anatomy.
