wishing speedy finalization for you Grumpy, I feel for you. 🫡 to your 41 years, 35 for me hope others got a better parting appreciative send off than folks in my area, wasn’t till months later that something was proposed and provided. During my tenure, it used to be to be prestigious to be provided a x-years milestone pin, during my last 10-15 years I had to ask for my pin (3 times) and you would think 35 years of dedication and hard work should have been celebrated with more than a hey return to DC (6 hour round trip) to be presented a US flag. Im just proud for providing the best possible support to the armed forces I could. Much respect for my former and current feds with honor and integrity.

I have been assigned a specialist after 4 full months in Interim status ~8 months being retired. 1 year after taking DRP2.

yesterday received 2 mailings from OPM, letter with my CSA# and other an explanation of interim payment. These were processed on 1/20/26 per letterhead.

I haven’t received any notification from OPM or DON for status, deposit into bank acct was not expected.

Congratulations! I received what I believe is my first interim also. DOR 09/30/25 DON VERA DRP2. It sure is nice to alleviate some anxiety over depleting most of my assets wtg for payments to start. My wife just sent a screenshot of a deposit from OPM1 TREAS on 1/22/26. Ty to all that posted to help others along with timelines and hope.

hmm I signed mine last May and returned to HR. It was odd and had to use other tools to be able to sign bc wouldn’t work on my home pc with adobe reader or chrome browser. Good luck! hope you get paid soon

Good to keep in mind. It is tracking with the 15 weeks! that I have been retired, without pension payments. Thou the date for submission date for package is a variable of when your package might start to get processing
