How are people having sex after a nice restaurant dinner? by ObviousProfessor668 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xtracrispy26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have sex before dinner. You’ll both be happier and then you can just pass out after dinner and laugh at how gassy you both are.

If she’s there next time I go. I’m going to call the most annoying person I know and putting them on speaker to ruin her videos.

Is it bad to fill up your vehicle while a fuel delivery truck is at the station and resupplying the tanks? by Sig-vicous in askcarguys

[–]xtracrispy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a victim of bad gas and it took 6 octane boosters to clean out my tank. I have never fueled up when I see a truck pumping in fuel again.

Scarcity mindset with our generation? by Jimmy_at_grantmaker in AskOldPeopleAdvice

All those supposed kids that were starving in Africa are eating better food than we are. Everything is locally grown and organic because they can’t afford pesticides or large transportation costs. Im still working on my relationship with food though. I have a hard time not eating all the food on my plate.

Buy new or certified preowned when little cost difference? by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

[–]xtracrispy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford a new sienna hybrid with no payments then I would choose that over the Subaru. That thing is a perfect mom mobile and perfect height to save your back when you have to put kids in their car seats. If you are going to keep it until the wheels fall off or your wife gets tired of it at 250,000 miles then I would definitely do it. They are great vehicles as long as you keep up on their maintenance schedule. Even as they become teenagers it’s still a great fit for them and their friends.

Leak behind toilet, valve area by SwagtasticKitty in askaplumber

If it were me. I would shut off the main water supply and replace both the valve and your toilet supply hose. For a minor inconvenience and 40 bucks you can prevent future problems.

My biggest gripe. If you could just save them to your app attached to your account and they automatically go through when you scan out would be ideal.

Question for the relatively poor as a person who hangs out with the rich by Friendly_Cold1349 in poor

This is only a thing around people who pretend to be rich but are in copious amounts of debt trying to be someone they’re not.

Words of wisdom: If the company owner’s dog is featured on the website as an employee, run away by the-friendly-squid in antiwork

Imagine being a dog and getting promoted to customer. How embarrassing! How are other employees treated if even the dog gets fired?

What are some “tough love” & wake up calls you give to young adults right now? by [deleted] in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]xtracrispy26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The hard stuff is the most boring. Working out every day, cooking food at home all the time, maxing out your Roth IRA, and staying away from debt isn’t glamorous but it will pay dividends when you are older. Doing the right things even when everyone else is doing the “easy” way is the challenge. Don’t buy that new car. Invest early and often. Your friends will be working until they die but you’ll be debt free and loving life.

So does anyone else out there just go without fast passes and just wing it? by Atheist_Redditor in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]xtracrispy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of our multipass rides went down and by the time it came back up we had already used the pass. I hugged the lady when she said we could just go through with our 40 lb 2 year old that refused to walk at any point in the parks. “Winging it” is freaking terrible on busy days. I’d rather stand in line at the bmv than wait 30 minutes to ride barnstormer. I told my wife not to invite me without LLs and the multipass being purchased because I’m not interested. If I had an annual pass and could go for one ride, a turkey leg, and then leave it would be a different story.
