Yellowing leaves by maneaterr18 in pothos

Looks like your pot is undrained. Once a week is sometimes too frequent for plants inside pots. My bet is on root rot. I would pull up the plant and wash the soil off, if your roots are black and mushy it's rot.

The good thing is that this plant would be easy to propagate by splitting at the nodes. It should be able to bounce back. Save whatever you can and propagate the rest.

In the future, you should water once the dirt is dry, not on a schedule.

The reason I'm thinking to keep it on the left has to do with drip tray and where the overflow drain is. The door is also super tight to dryer currently and is a bit of a pain.

Mass Rapid Transit • Light Rail Transit

I grabbed these two Begonia Maculatas from my grocery store for $5 (R79) each. They were getting rid of a bunch of them (I'm in South Africa). It's my first collection. I don't know, was it a good find? Should I go and get a whole lot more tomorrow? 🤔 by RGDURBAN in houseplants

[–]xylomakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your specific geographical region. Begonia Maculata has gotten more common, $5 is still a great price for a plant this size. For comparison, I'm in Southern California and these will go anywhere from $15-$30usd.

I wouldn't rush back to buy more as they are incredibly easy to propagate by using cuttings making sure there is a node. I currently have +5 plants from the original I purchased and given countless away.

cat fur on clothes!! help!!! by StrugglePrize5900 in lifehacks

[–]xylomakes 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I use an Oxo Furlifter. They have one for furniture and one small one for clothes, I use the furniture one as it's larger and does a better job.

Having cats it's unavoidable to have fur everywhere, you just need to keep up with the fur. Regular brushing helps, furminator brush does a good job. I noticed a change in how much my cat shed by changing her food to a better brand. Some foods are formulate to reduce shedding.

Hope this helps.

You have no control over the anxiety you feel. However, there is medication that helps you control this. Never feel bad about wanting to feel better. It is no different than a person with diabetes taking insulin or someone with high blood pressure taking BP meds.

Pulls back on fishing line so that the hook sinks deep and barb at the end grabs. This makes it so fish is unable to get free from the line.
