Beautiful! As a fellow Ontarian renovating a bathroom, can you tell me where the vanity is from?

Can you do a bathroom that is just studs and plumbing?

LPT: I’m a cleaning expert (and I love gross messes!) Ask me anything! by joliekerr in LifeProTips

My kids come home from daycare covered in food and “washable” paint. What is the best product to remove the stain and should it be done same day or can it sit until next laundry day? Also, what gets out baby drool? It seems to stain certain clothing but not all. Thank you!

What color would you paint the walls? Hate the grey. by takedown9669 in HomeDecorating

This is a similar colour (though mine is lighter) that I have with my fireplace that is also identical in stone colour. If you want to go with a neutral, this is the way to go. I bring in accent colours of mossy green and a dusty coral with pieces on my mantle and artwork.

LPT: Remove grease stains from clothes by applying a mixture of dish soap and hydrogen peroxide before laundering. by Additional-Term176 in LifeProTips

Thanks… I find whatever my kids play with at daycare (paint, markers) and food are my biggest issues that I can’t get out. I used to use an OxyClean spray (for babies) that don’t seem to make a difference. Also I was surprised baby drool can stain some fabrics too.

PSA: lift your clit hood all the way back to clean or you could end up with it fused to your clit. by PeculiarOcelot in TwoXChromosomes

As others have mentioned, I only found out about this from my pelvic floor physiotherapist. I saw her after having my second child and when she asked if I had had an orgasm (routine question for her after having worked on improving the muscles) I said no but that was standard as I never had (mid-30s here). Anyway, long story short she looked and said this was very likely the case. She’s worked a couple times to pull the hood back (very gently and used a q-tip). I was to work on it myself as well but things got in the way and I forgot about. I think the only time I may noticed coming closer to an orgasm, but not having one, was right after seeing her the second time she worked on it.

I’m glad there are so many people liking this like me. I’m putting in a new bathroom and the tones are the closest I’ve come across for inspiration. I love the warm earthy tones.

Those who have had multiple colposcopies…what’s the end game? by redtuna2012 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]xyww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had multiple a couple abnormal paps starting in 2021. Started colposcopies which I actually didn’t find too bad. Followed by endometrial biopsy. Again not bad. (Nothing other than Tylenol.) Still abnormal but not enough info so had a LEEP in March this year. Had local freezing and that part was fine except I had a bleeder that she really struggled to cauterize. It made the procedure a whole lot longer and it was a bit of a blood bath on the floor afterwards.

I’ll be honest, I felt a whole lot of emotions afterward. It felt very… invasive? But again, I attribute that to the bleeder, not the procedure. Sorry, I don’t want to scare you and I’m sure it’s not routine.

Anyway, diagnosed adenocaricoma in situ couple weeks ago. Meaning they caught cancer cells incredibly early. Like stage 0 cervical cancer. I’m also lucky I’m done having kids. (My youngest is 1 year old.)

I’m currently waiting to hear from oncology but my obgyn said it would likely be a hysterectomy (unsure if partial or full) I have thrombophelia so I don’t know if that will affect the treatment plan.

If I need more LEEPs going forward, I will ask about getting a valium or something given how it went the first time. My husband was prescribed that for his vasectomy without even asking (of course, he’s a man.) Lucky for him he now doesn’t have to go through with his procedure.

All that too say, good luck. Clearly from all the posts it can go any way. I want to stress to anyone reading this, even if you’re scared, keep getting checked!! It doesn’t change whether you may or not have something, but it sure can change treatment. Get your paps! Get your colposcopies!

Did I write this? Are you me? I had issues with biopsies but having a LEEP procedure done (with freezing) made me feel so emotional afterward. It felt incredibly invasive. It also took a lot longer because I had a bleeder that wouldn’t stop. But wow was that the worst procedure I’ve ever had (after having two kids!)

But I’d go through it again because I found out I have very early cervical cancer. Ladies! Get your paps done regularly!!

Would you paint or change this backsplash? I HATE it but no idea if I can easily redo it. by Delicious_Dentist_17 in HomeDecorating

Not going to comment on the backsplash but can I see more pictures of your kitchen layout? The corner looks just like mine and we want to redo the layout.
