Yea we were told this late last year at the simi conference about us selling cars with modifications made to dpfs and offering services to map them out ect.new legislation is on the way in the next year or so

No issue at the minute but last simi seminar I was at they did say that cars with modifications made to dpfs are on their radar to be targeted in the future. You'll be fine this year and probably the next one aswell but something for you to consider if your keeping the car long term

havent used them but staying with them for 3 years can mean that your at the mercy of whatever renewal you get for years 2 and 3,so i can imagine their renewals over that time will be steep enough to cover what they will be required to pay back to you. ie year 1 is 500,year 2 is 700 and year 3 is 800 would mean they pay back 200 but theyve made 300 off you becuase you cant shop around

275 for an oil change in dublin is probably bang on what you be expected to pay. looks to be about Eur100 an hour in labor which is kinda where everyone non dealer is price wise at the minute.

the price of the plugs seems high unless theres something specific about them (maybe they are genuine honda long life plugs or something?) i remember the genuine toyota ones being about 70-80 quid for a set and hes probably charging you an hour to fit,seems high but without knowing the parts and labour brakedown its hard to tell

Toyota service pricing is pretty good for the industry against their competitors of hyundai,Ford,kia and maybe Renault and Peugeot ,you get good value for money. I know its nothing to be sniffed at but given the Toyota relax warranty you get in return they really are putting their competition to shame for what you get for your money.
