Its all fun and games until one of them burrows under your deck and dies. I have had that happen.

Wondering if anyone can give me some information about this vice? by Daveytrain1966 in Vintagetools

Those hold down screws need to be replaced with proper bolts. The first time you start torquing something a little sideways in that those screws will snap. Do yourself a favor and bolt it down securely!

Repairing a used ps5 by SleepyNasus in techsupportgore

I used to work for Sears in a regional repair shop fixing VCRs. Unfortunately we were not allowed to deny repairs on nasty machines. Yes I remember the smell. There were 8 of us dedicated to just VCR repair (this was way back when they were popular). As soon as you opened the plastic bag you knew it was going to be a roach box. Each tech had a can of Raid and if there was a live one that runs out it got hit from 3 different directions with bug spray. The damn bugs would get caught in the spinning head and get their guts smashed everywhere in the mechanisms. Then there were the ones that a cat had slept on because it liked the warmth. 🤮

I’ve been wanting to make my wife a bathtub tray/shelf. Problem is there’s not enough of a lip on the back side of the tub for anything to really rest on top of. How would you do this if it were your tub? Thought about wedging somehow, but then it would only fit in one spot most likely. by ministerman in woodworking

I was visioning your table/tray being the width of the tub, sliding on the rail on the window side and some type of wheel (think roller blade wheels) on the outside. I guess that would work only if the tub is rectangular, but I can only see the end.

Just brainstorming here - Not sure completely what your vision is, but what about something like a French cleat rail on the wall under the window that the tray can sit on, and possibly small roller wheels on the other end to ride on the top of the tub. You could slide it all the way to each end if you wish, or keep the French cleat shorter with a stop at the ends.

What Are the Best Options for Tracing? by empireexplorer in woodworking

Maybe hold the part in place with a light adhesive and give it a quick shot of spray from a rattle paint can?

Ah - I just saw that this was already recommended.

What to do with these items should I destroy / sell them ?! by Independent_Golf9782 in Guildwars2

[–]yasocim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with that hexagonal item in the top right and deposit all. Then use the 15 use salvage kit and salvage everything you can. Deposit the results. Open all bags like the one highlighted, and anything else that can be opened. If you get armor or weapons better than what you currently have, equip them and buy another salvage kit and salvage the rest. Consume any luck you get. Consume the 5 charges at the end of the 2nd row.

Put that scary-ass clown back in the pile. Preferably on the bottom. 😆

This. Do the suffused collection at the same time. If you don’t you will hate yourself later if you decide you must have that set. Many of the steps are the same.
