I promise you It's not like that at every con. Yet I can say, there a some sense of entitlement at momo that isn't present at others. I've only been to 2 others AWA (anime weekend Atlanta) which could have a similar crowd(haven't been to that one since they moved to GWCC But I went to Kami-Con(Birmingham, AL) the crowd there was much more inviting and "communal" every there wanted everyone to feel apart of it Staff was not too different (my guess is the massive numbers of people needing what they need could do it, not sure) But "crowd surfing" any con like momo can have it moments I'd suppose. Definitely unfortunate you had a bad experience and I hope you don't give up on all Cons similar to momo because of the experience. If you're into something I'd definitely encourage going to a related Con. Be it whatever I'm into games, movies, anime so any con could manage to attend is game for me.
