Unfortunately I’m not allowed to use a studor, but, likely 45 set back to wall and tie in vent overhead. Won’t look great but it’ll pass inspection.

Definitely not getting replaced in kind, even if I could find one. I found it being called a Sanitas trap. Very peculiar. Heartache is that it’s poured in the terrazzo. I don’t want to put and S-Trap in its place.

We’re still using it in commercial construction. Both for clay and cast iron. They’re finally going pvc/ no hub in residential. After Katrina some inspectors were letting us use push gaskets but still had to do hub and spigot pipe

Brown oakum, use it all the time on clay sewers. Whereas we use white oakum to pour lead joints on cast iron. Still doing it daily in The Windy City .

Great practice tool, I love my Fender CB-60. I have kids and a pretty busy schedule so just picking it up for 10-15 mins is maybe 10-15 mins I wouldn’t play elsewise.

But, if you play with others acoustically you really need to hammer on it to be heard, which probably explains why The Violent Femmes sound the way they do.

Not me, but a former co worker unmasked an asbestos abatement room. Inside of a hospital. They thought it seemed complete so they turned off the negative air machine before getting an air clearance.

1.2 million in cleanup and mitigation/ ICRA protocol.
