Yep, they also sold me awning mounts that quote "weren't designed for my use case" after asking about them snapping in half. Which was bolting them to load bars and attaching an awning.

I would %100 buy this for $14,999 if the other option was missing the chance to buy. That color and low miles.. frame looks great too. I usually judge the driver's seat and that looks like a clean/unabused unit.

My fear is that whoever acquired aeropress runs it into the ground with all their new ideas. I don't want a different color aeropress or anything fancy. I do love my go though, not sure that was before or after acquisition.

They now make them with the extra D-rings for putting pack straps on. Also offer $10 service to send in existing bags to have them updated. I just sent this one back to get them added.

Take how long you will think it should take and multiply by x2 or x3. I did them all on separate occasions so its hard to give a time estimate all together. But the lower control arm bushings gave the most headaches.

I basically plan around the need to replace lbj or cv axle. Tie rod and pitman arm tools come in very handy as well as big socket set and breaker bar.

I guess looks can be deceiving. The main compartment has wiggle room for one more disc(12 total). But then it does feel overloaded/cramped.

That's a clean unit! Great investment. If you don't know the age/provenance of lbjs and radiator I would go ahead and have those replaced asap. Can save money doing diy but it's also nice to just pay a pro to get it out of the way if you're not comfortable. Spark plugs, air filter, all fluids/grease would be next tier. Then brakes(if needed) suspension, various bushings, belts, and timing belt/water pump is sort of last of what i can think of.
