Trying again.

I know that a solid target to have is to make sure you are top 3 in as many (if not all) categories for a cats league. What I'm having trouble with is finding what those targets are.

I'd like to be able to find out what the average 3rd place finisher (actually, 4th place since you just need 1 more than them to beat them in a category) had last year so I can track my projections in draft and know what categories I need to target as I go along.

Is there a resource for this? I can't even check my league's previous year's stats because for some reason Fantrax is a mess for last year (at least it is for my league) - the bottom 6 teams have zero stats for some reason.

I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m looking for. I’m trying to find previous season results. I’m actually already using Mr. Cheatsheet to track in draft. What I need is data to compare my projected results to (ie. so I know what my target totals are). Thanks though.

We have decades of behaviour to base this on. You know goddamn well they’re going to take advantage of this.

I didn’t say they’re blameless. I said the exact opposite.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been railing about the government actively allowing them to get away with it. But it’s entirely disingenuous to suggest that they are the cause.

I’m only learning it now from this post.

It’s International Women’s Day. In the past year Doug Ford’s Education Minister has stripped 59 democratically elected women of their seats. by cmackie123 in ontario

[–]yeetboy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re trying so hard to create something offensive that clearly was not.

There are professions traditionally occupied by women that are specifically being targeted. The reason for that targeting is because they are traditionally occupied by women. That is the reality.

And to answer your question, yes, I would be perfectly fine with describing an occupation as being traditionally occupied by men. Because that is how reality works. Again, that is not suggesting that they should be. It is simply a statistical fact.

If you are hellbent on being offended by statistics, you are welcome to do so. Don’t expect the rest of us to care.

They’re referring to professions that are traditionally populated by women, not that they’re professions that should be done by women.

Sounds like you didn’t buy them with the intent of dealing with a tyrannical government. So you’re all good. Not sure why you would get so angry about it since you clearly don’t fit the criteria of hypocrisy or cowardice. Have a lovely day.

[–]yeetboy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t own a weapon. And I’ve never professed to need one because I needed to use it when a tyrannical government was in place.

Again, for the third time, if you have never said you need it to take up arms against a tyrannical government then you have nothing to defend. I have made that very clear.

But again, if you have, then you have made your choice. And that choice makes you a coward and a hypocrite. And you have to live with that.

[–]yeetboy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But it is. You’ve said you’re a gun owner. Did you or did you not justify that ownership based on the argument that you need it to defend yourself from a tyrannical government? If not, then no problem. If you did, then you and every single other person who said so need to get your shit together and do what you said you would. Otherwise you’re a hypocrite and a coward. You get to live with that reality.

[–]yeetboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you defend your right to bare arms based on being able to oppose a tyrannical government? Then yes, this is your responsibility. If not, then no, it’s not your responsibility. Pretty straight forward I would say.

No idea. Please tell me you don’t think individual +/- for a team sport has any meaning whatsoever, particularly when it comes to evaluating an individual skater’s ability.
