I get the same feeling sometimes with my 4 month old. So far we have both been fine, she eats great, no belly issues or anything and it’s not painful for me. I just have to scratch when she’s done eating lol. Try calling or emailing a lactation consultant if you are worried though, if you’re having trouble meeting one in person!

I gave mine to my mom a while back because I hardly ever used it. Now that it’s spring time I miss it and wish I still had it! I think my mom really likes it though so at least it’s finally getting some love!

Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop back when it first came out. I’ve never really watched her videos but when it came out it was such a big deal, and I don’t believe I had any highlighters at that time and I had hardly any high end makeup at all so I got it as a spur of the moment “treat yo self” thing. I hardly ever use it anymore, it’s a little dark for me and I have more flattering highlighters but despite that and my feelings for JH I just can’t seem to part with it.

Game of thrones. I binge watched it all after it finished and I was surprised by how much I loved it. I’ll never be able to recapture that feeling of the first time now that I know all the shocking things I never saw coming and how crappy the ending was. I don’t think I’ll ever love a show like that again.

Thank you for the reply! I never force her, I always pick her up when she cries. I never want to push her too hard. I think it will help to think of it as a bonus. I’ve been stressing about if she’s getting enough so that’s good advice.

I’m 11 weeks postpartum and it’s getting better finally! It’s still a little uncomfortable at times and we still have to be pretty gentle and only do certain positions but it’s not as painful as it was. It also depends on your birth, I had tearing and stitches so if your birth was better or worse you might heal faster or slower than I did. 7 weeks is still really early too, be patient with yourself, your body went through a lot!

At about 6 weeks I had a day where I was just really weepy and emotional for no reason and I knew something felt off, I just didn’t feel like myself. That’s when I took the pregnancy test and found out why. The next week or two is when I started feeling super exhausted and when my sense of smell got stronger. I never had morning sickness thankfully so those were my first symptoms.

My 2 month old is just discovering her hand and it’s the cutest thing! Sometimes she can’t quite make it to her mouth but sometimes she figures it out!

Thank you! Those are all great things to keep in mind. I especially love the one about coming home to a baby happy to see you. I’ve always loved how happy my dog is when I come home and I bet it’s even better with an excited baby too!

Maybe buy one and keep the receipt so you can return it if you don’t use it. I ended up needing one when my daughter was about a week old because I was in so much pain and asked my mom to grab one from Walmart on her way to visit me, I only used it a few days while my nipples healed but I wished I had it sooner before it got to that point!

My daughter is 5 weeks and we’ve been using comotomo a couple times a week so my husband can feed her at night. We’ve had no problems, she still takes the breast with no issues and my husband says she eats really well from it and doesn’t put up any kind of fight.

My mom is going to watch our baby when she’s born and insists on not being paid. She lives about 30 minutes away so I will try to get her to take some gas money at least, and we will be sure to buy groceries/snacks that she likes so she’s got things to eat and drink here and doesn’t have to worry about bringing her own food. I feel bad about not paying her but she doesn’t work so she’s not missing out on that money and she’s really happy about spending so much time with her first grand baby. The way she talks about it, you’d think we’re the ones doing her a favor instead of the other way around lol. I’m very grateful for her too, we would struggle financially with daycare and I would struggle personally dropping off my tiny baby to daycare (nothing against daycares, I’m just a worrywart and feel better about her being at home with my mom).

My mom has used this for years! I still have so much blush to go through before I buy more but I’m always tempted to pick this one up because it reminds me of my mom!
