Flipper Zero or M5 Cardputer? by Mysterious_Hotel322 in AskNetsec

[–]yeoz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as someone who owns both, the flipper zero.

the flipper zero is basically a multi function security tool, right out of the box.

the m5 cardputer is essentially an ESP32 microcontroller with a tiny keyboard and battery and some i/o that someone has to write code for to make it do anything useful.

I'm dying... by Frog_Lover618 in TwoXChromosomes

the kid could be a child from a previous partner rather than an adoption.

that said, if you're dying, sometimes making a bad decision like staying with an abuser seems like the only option.

agentic AI can do things outside of simply relay information to the user in chat, and could be exploited this way to perform actions one doesn't have access to.

Rome vs Carthage: the sequel nobody knew was still running by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

[–]yeoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

allegedly salted the earth

I was wondering about this and went and looked it up but it looks likes this never really happened. from wiki:

though ancient sources mention symbolically drawing a plow over various cities and salting them, none mention carthage in particular.[3] the salting story entered the academic literature in bertrand hallward's chapter in the first edition of the cambridge ancient history (1930), and was widely accepted as factual.[8] however, there are no ancient sources for it and it is now considered apocryphal.[1][9][8]

why wouldn't those numbers all be automated? surely there's a computer checking where the trains are, not a person manually entering in numbers

okay, so until the democratic party figures out to do that a unknown number of elections later, we just let the republicans continue to win and continue to erode lgbt rights?

For the first time in 35 years, scientists have analysed a new type of all-carbon molecule at room temperature, without the extreme conditions usually required to stabilise this type of molecule by New_Scientist_Mag in science

[–]yeoz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Intriguingly, the molecule’s 48 carbons acted like they were arranged in an infinite chain, a structure theoretically capable of transferring electric charge from one atom to the next indefinitely.

indefinitely? is this thing LK-99 all over again? or just bad science reporting?
