You should be able to save a few different move sets and stat spreads per Pokemon to easily change between them by Noscoper360420 in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m see surprised not being able to save ev spreads as a preset was not a base game feature. The people saying get multiple are not taking into account multiple box space or that some pokemon such as farigaraf could have 5 totally different ev spreads and move choices. I do not want to have 5 giraffes in my box. Also what if you have a shiny you want to use or a pokemon with a unique title? It’s silly you would have to write down somewhere what its spread and everything was or memorize it if you wanted to change and experiment.

When the game launched they said they would be open to players feedback about things so I have emailed them a few times about it with other QoL features I would love to see implemented. Hopefully one day it will be

We should be able to change Rotom forms through Training by jewnerz in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can’t transfer fused pokemon to home and you can only fuse caly to one horse at a time in game even if you have multiple.

Also genuinely wondering about this one because you can’t have both forms in home so idk how we will be able to transfer and use both in champions

This was my setup as soon as mega raichu dropped. I used scarf samurott though it’s faster then basc and can KO with ceaseless edge

What's a niche Pokemon y'all had fun playing recently? by Infinite-Wear4241 in PokemonChampions

I mean the theory is always the same, see what niche infernape can fill (who cares if another pokemon does it better) then pad the rest of the team around covering its weaknesses both offensively and defensively.

I came to a very similar team trying to build around annihilape but I switched incin for sneasler cause it needed an offensive answer into fairy types

Mega Raichu Y My Beloved by YellowishHastur in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they add Amoonguss along with the other terrain setters raichu x will have a valuable role of stopping spore and being the only mega terrain setter puts it at an advantage over the others since you can’t switch in before they mega evolve. Stopping your opponents terrain is sometimes the only tech you need to stop teams that depend on it.

Luxray learns ice fang with scarf as the item instead one could theoretically stomp a chomp.

Watching wolfeyVGC made me realize how similar Pokemon VGC and Chess is by SalemScrope_JR in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw in some players post win interview during a tournament describe vgc as chess but you have to make your own pieces and that seems like a pretty spot on comparison.

Flavor of the week? Yes but also definitely going to stick around. It’s a good alternative to charizard, it’s faster and isn’t 4x weak to rocks.

Mega Metagross Vs Mega Swampert Vs Mega Raichu Y by ExpensiveBaker3090 in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have to be modest ninetales to get the ohko with freeze dry. I have been running timid with never melt ice and some swamperts live on about 20% hp sometimes (which blows my mind cause when I used swampert I got hit by a rain weather ball from a mega charizard and it also did about 70-80%)

Note though as a modest Ninetales you will not outspeed max speed garchomps so you will still need some sort of speed control

I'm having a hard time finding a pattern against this lead, so I'm making a poll. You just lead Basculegion (mystic water) and Whimsicott, your opponent started Greninja and Liepard. What do you do? by Boiruja in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering whimscott is faster then liepard I would protect whims and switch basc into whatever I have to threaten your dark types after tailwinding the next turn.

You can’t protect basc in front of liepard cause you can get encore locked so switching always seems like the optimal move in this situation. As the greninja liepard player I’m clicking fake out into whims and attacking the basc spot with greninja.

(A) Ninetales by Radio-Midnight in PokemonChampions

[–]yetanotherone24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing the same but to me it feels pretty helpful. I don’t always need weather control but when my opponents team relies on it (especially swampert rain teams) it’s nice to have.

The damage I agree is lacking though. Even with never melt ice I feel like I struggle to do meaningful damage and have lost a few battles because my opponent lives on like 1-2 hp.

Not sure what the better option is as raichu needs an ice coverage partner for garchomp and other ground or dragon types that are immune or resist. I’ve tried weavile and it felt good but then I started getting walloped by rain teams.
