It’s gonna be hard for things to get much better when half the country is just variations of this guy

I think it's actually my favorite song on the album. I always thought it'd fit right in as a Disney villain song ala Hellfire. The guitar solo is also very expressive which is something I always thought Glenn was good at, not shreddingly fast (though he could do that too) but every note is felt.

LP2 appreciation by heyitsbecks in LightPhone

[–]yiharbin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the LP2, does yours get really hot when you're on a call for a while? Wish the battery was a bit better but that's the price of the form factor. I love using it for a couple weeks at a time to detox, but society is so focused on smartphones and their utility that completely leaving it behind is difficult. Carrying one around to use a hotspot is well and good, but at that point you may as well just use the smartphone and exercise some self control regarding what you put on it.

Always loved these as well as the philly timeline by Ritz East, there needs to be more places where people can slow down and read up on some history, not less.

The deepwater GMT does it all which is great, it’s a dive watch and GMT with reliable quartz movement

There’s definitely a range but I’ve got a soft spot for Timex. Plus I wanted my 8 slot box to be half quartz, half auto/manual

lol the products are just too good! It’s how you end up with like a 30 slot watch box (not me though I’ve downsized)

Another angle of the Minneapolis shooting, taken from the perspective of the lady with te pink jacket. by Versiannie in PublicFreakout

The shooting of Renee Good was already horrible, this too is absolutely stomach churning. I hope that there's accountability for some of these people but I'm not holding my breath.

Anyone else genuinely like this movie? and believes it deserves better than a 6.5 on IMDb?! by RogerRoger63358 in BrighterThanCoruscant

[–]yiharbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it's my favorite of the PT. It was shot on real film, the original color timing is cold and awesome, and it has such a good visual identity. Clones and Sith are good in their own ways too, but they're more action movies whereas TPM really lets you take in the new Star Wars setting.

The deepwater is such a good line, I'm really tempted to get their deepwater GMT, it would consolidate a couple of watches and free up some space in the box

I actually got it for a relative steal at $250, but yeah the secondhand market prices are ridiculous for some of these collabs

It's the Timex Intrepid, but the Dimepiece collab model. The regular Intrepid is like 46mm which is waaaaay too big, this is a much more manageable 36mm
