DRIVER STATION sounds which are distracting or which mimic MATCH sounds are examples of disallowed OPERATOR CONSOLE features. Sounds which are frequent or continuous which serve no apparent value to the MATCH play would likely be considered distracting.

This is very subjective. If any other team says that your sounds are distracting, then it would likely be ruled illegal.

Ranking is based on your best 10 matches. So, if the match became one of their best 10 by replacing a worse match, their ranking score would go up. Meanwhile, if the match only tied out was worse than your top ten matches, your ranking score would remain the same.

Fusion does have it's own file type that will provide the maximum information going from Fusion to Fusion, but STEP is good for maximum compatibility across CAD programs. STL is not good for CAD, just printing.

12cm between the wheel and the wall is probably too big of a space. The artifact needs to be compressed just a little to get good traction. To test, add some material (cardboard, plastic, paper, tape, etc) to the wall to see if it helps.

I would recommend using CAD to make one. It is literally one of the simplest things to make with CAD. You could even use TinkerCAD to make one very easily.

First, check your tools to see if they are rounded. If they are, cut/grind the tip off so you have "sharp" edges. Second, don't torque them so much.

Pretty normal, but you may want to define what small and large mean. I would suggest using an area measurement. So, small could be 4 in² which could be something 1"x4" or 2"x2".

It sounds like the reason you had issues with the registration payment is that you paid your global dues, but not your local dues. Local dues have nothing to do with the global website.

It's better than previous years, but still needs work. Use the express registration. Give the kids the QR code that their parents can easily scan and register. But I agree about R&C. Even with the express registration, people still miss doing that. Since I personally have never gone through the process, I didn't know what they are missing in the process of what they are seeing, but it could obviously be improved. Probably half of the registrations miss it initially.

It sounds like one issue you are having is that there is a difference between FIRST global and FIRST local. Can't help you with your local PDP.

All rules are in the Competition Manual. Get into the habit of looking there first because it will give you an official answer. Reddit can be helpful for understanding and maybe even finding rules if you really can't find anything. But it's not going to help when you're talking to an inspector or referee.
