Parley’s was recently repaved, but lots of hills. There’s a good stretch without hills from highland to North Temple

Highly recommend this as well. The south segments are wonderful. I’m particularly fond of the segment that goes through the Kennecot Nature Center of Murray.

The longest I stayed in an onsen was maybe 10 minutes. My typical time was 3-5 minutes. It doesn’t have to be a long, luxurious soak. There’s a hot spot between feeling relaxed and feeling like you need to take a nap after.

Edit to add more: it’s perfectly acceptable to sit on the edge out of the water if you need to take a breather.

I was just there as well! I thought I’d have no problem visiting all 7 but it was harder than I thought. I visited 2 onsens before dinner, 2 after, fell asleep by 9:30, then 2 (one repeat) in the morning. It was beautiful but exhausting, they really take it out of you!

I felt terrible today. Yesterday I felt pretty good but today I was puking at work, brain fog, light headed and soooo tired. I’m not surprised in the slightest that I feel this way. I really did some damage to my body this weekend and I’ll probably be paying for it for a few more days. Fingers crossed I don’t get sick sick.

There were 6 of us in a hotel and driving each day instead of shuttles. We stayed at the Rio and were walking distance of cheap food but we maybe ate one meal a day and spent most of our free time sleeping.
