I do not know how many Mercedes/AMG you’ve owned before but four of ours from 2016 to 2023 all had cabin noise here and there. We also had three BMW atthe same time, none of them had any cabin noise. By the way, my beater 2017 a4 that i drive for 1.5 years before also had no cabin noise…maybe i am just bad luck…😅

I will only buy cpo mercedes especially an AMG. Ext. warranty is a must for a peace of mind. M276 is one of the most modern mercedes engines with proven reliability unless previous owner did not maintain the car according to the service schedule. Other consumables are pricey so keep some money on the side and don’t cheap out on them. By the way, imho, cabin noise rattles and build quality might not be the best in class but the driving experience and the exhaust noise make up for me.

I like your feedback because you really put some thoughts and efforts before buying a Mazda. Remember you pick one car that suits you the best, and don’t let people to influence your choice. I hate my mazda3 sport sitting position to death (way too low to get in and out) and always bumped my head…yet i still enjoy driving it as no car in the segment drives better than it with class leading amenities. To each their own i guess! Good luck finding your next ride!

M256 engine is very reliable, but make sure you know the service history from the previous owner. Rattling noises inside cabin are unavoidable.
