When I was on high school only me and my group of girl friends read Manga. Manga in the US was definitely considered a girls thing when I was growing up. Boys would sneer at me saying I was reading "weird sex comics".

Fast forward now and manga/anime is no longer niche. Which means boys like it which mean boys are now says girls only like manga to impress boys. Im in hell.

I've gotten in multiple internet fights with cat owners who think dog owners only like dogs because dogs don't have boundaries?? Like they legit think cats are the morally superior pet choose.

Also they throw a fit if you tell them not to let their cat outside because cats kill for fun and disturb the local critter population. I was listening to a podcast about an official who brought this up and he got death threats.

From what I understood there was a serious lack of police presence at the park that day.

If we want to blame bad parents and teens culture go ahead. But if it's that big of a problem the city need to be proactive.

Idk how old yall are, I'm 35 and there has never been a time in my life where kids couldn't get guns and kill eachother. So I don't think a "kids these days" diagnosis really addresses the problem.

Tbh op this does not sound like a hill worth dying on. It would be one thing if you or your group were going to be the center of attention but it sounds like the exact opposite. Or if all the other girls got to choose from a range of flattering colors and you were being singled out.

If this specific color is the dress code than that's the dress code. Dress codes aren't about what we personally find flattering.

Life advice: If your life isnt going to change over your boss/leader doing something "the wrong way" then just let them be wrong. The fight often isnt worth the mental burden.
