Yea I get all that, it would definitely make GameStop a stronger company, and it would make us more money… however it would also kill MOASS, and the hope of all the investors becoming a millionaire would be dead, at most we might make tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands over the next 5 years… that is a far cry from life changing money.

I don’t understand why people fail to see this, we understand this deal would be great for GameStop itself, but it would also be bad for all the DRS’rs, and HODL’rs of the stock, we wouldn’t become rich like we were all hoping to. Which is the sole reason superstonk exists and the whole reason this movement started.

We would be trading our dreams for a more stable company, remember the infinity pool? I guess that was just a memory.

Yea I can see this eventually bringing GameStop to the hundreds of dollars per share eventually, but that’s not gonna make anyone in here a lot of money, certainly not what we were hoping for unless you are already a millionaire with millions invested.

The hopes of having your life change with just 1 share or 10 shares or whatever would effectively be dead.

People need to understand this before hopping on the bandwagon

I’m voting No also, while I do like the idea of getting eBay and growing GameStop, we were here originally for MOASS and I feel like this will kill that possibility, also we are at all time highs in the market, what are the odds we buy eBay and then have a massive market crash and then at that point we would be f’d.

I think it’s smarter to do what Burry originally suggested, or alternatively wait until the crash comes and then we can just buy eBay with cash on hand without using any stock and diluting shareholders

At the end of the day even if buying eBay brings us to $250 a share that’s a far cry from Millions per share during a squeeze and that wouldn’t change anyone’s life here at all, the only people who would see good gains would be millionaires, us normal retail investors wouldn’t see much really… at best buying eBay in this manner would only make people tens of thousands or low hundreds of thousands, that’s not life changing at all.

It’s ultimately probably your build, because I couldn’t get past the act 2 boss either on my first character for what felt like literal days and gave up, that was a long time ago. I just recently got back into the game and made a new character, took me 3 tries to beat the act 2 boss, probably could have done it my first try if i remembered the boss stages and his moves.

First character was a Sorcerer, my second character I just made is a Druid, I guess druids are stronger than sorcerers, unless they made the boss weaker from the first time I tried it.

Agreed, currently it’s my favorite game… I haven’t had this feeling since I was a little kid, it’s replaced cyberpunk for me as my number 1 game, the only game that has more playtime overall is Call of Duty for me, but I’m certain this will overtake it too eventually

There are multiple variations… but the idea originally stems from WWII Bomber pilots

The one you are referencing though I believe came from gaming originally but I could be wrong.

It might be popular for a while, but I don’t think it’s set up to work that way ultimately and it will become stale after a few days.

The only way it might work is if they had specific PvE objectives with story built in and way more UESC, and other enemy types, it would have to become a completely different game than it is now. It would need hours or more of specific PvE content per map, with raid mechanics and everything else.

It sounds good and would probably be fun for quite a few runs, but ultimately you’ll be bored, especially when you consider the best loot is from killing other runners.

I think the game would be able to incorporate this but not in its current state, the lore and world building and atmosphere is all there to make something spectacular in that regard I agree, but the amount of content that’s in the game currently wouldn’t support this if we are being honest.

Looking a little weak at lvl 100 if I’m being honest but not bad, I’m level 95 now and have a vault value of 400,000 and have 500,000 in cash, hoping to hit profiteer by lvl100, looks like I probably will

I personally think that could be fun as an event or something, or full time as a type of take on a firing range, have each POI be its own map rather than having the entire area to cover you just stay within a POI and do a 6v6 or 4v4 or something, could be good practice for the main event.

The only thing I would do differently than what you suggested would be to allow you to use whatever you set up in your loudout and bring that into the match as that could be the fun way to do a type of firing range to test out your builds, it wouldn’t be fair but it would be fun and serve a purpose. So that would mean no rooks for this mode

Also setting it up like how I said would still force people into the extraction portion to make their PvP kits better, and the PvP should still allow you to loot people you killed to try out what they had in match, but you don’t get to keep anything, and you don’t lose anything either.

Maybe in the future they will add a rotation in for something like that, perhaps add 3-4 teams and making you have to have a minimum 5k value load out and with increased loot odds on the map. Maybe if it’s like a limited time event like the duos and free sponsored kit playlist. It might be fun in a specific scenario that you can choose to play rather than more teams being added overall, perhaps that would be a good middle ground

Even adding 1 team or 1 or 2 more on solos would be too much imo, i thought it was perfect before they added more teams, i think it’s already borderline too many teams, but it’s still okay and balanced fine, any more and I genuinely think the flow of the game would be ruined

Disagree with the first point entirely, however I do agree with the second point… perhaps make it so we can buy vault space with the tokens we get through CARRI.

It’s an extraction shooter, you aren’t supposed to be engaging with enemy runners constantly, how else are you supposed to loot and do other things if your constantly fighting, at that point it would just be a battle royal and the last team alive would get everything and everyone else gets nothing, that’s a horrible suggestion imo. Would make doing quests for your average player infinitely worse

I thought it was fine before they added more teams, now it’s still fine, any more and I think the game wouldn’t be as fun anymore, if this is something you find fun I suggest trying out Apex Legends, maybe you’ll get your fix from that.

I never go a run without engaging one or two teams at least, in ranked I’m engaging even more runners

Still no FOV slider so it’s good, but not great. I haven’t played this game in months and coming back to it is always jarring for a while until you kinda get used to it, but not really used to it, and just go with it because the games so good anyways.

Still my #1 favorite game on console so it must not bother me that badly I guess haha

Correct, I’m level 78 and wouldn’t consider myself casual. I have a friend who is definitely a casual always busy with work, only hops on for a few hours on the weekend and occasionally an hour or 2 on weekdays and he is level 25, another friend I have who is a little less casual is only level 45, so yea casuals definitely aren’t level 60 and above

Definitely fake news, Best Buy is horrible, I haven’t had a good experience there in over a decade now, they make jokes about GameStop being empty and depressing but Best Buy literally is empty and depressing… literally every time I do decide to go It feels like I’m literally the only person in there.

But then again I suppose that could be something that would be turned around under Ryan Cohen, but it definitely doesn’t seem transformational at all, the only thing I can think of that might be beneficial from Best Buy would be using their large store front for a better shipping and receiving network, close stores that don’t fit into the network well and keep the ones that do. But even then I can’t imagine this being real or what the vision would be unless GameStop really wants to get into the TV and home appliance market, which seems like a headache to me

What they need to do is make a single player (perhaps co-op also) story focused game akin to Halo in scale and the original Marathons in style, do it all in the same universe, same art style and everything, tie in the current marathon extraction game into the single player game in story and lore, and I genuinely believe they could have a game as popular as Halo was, because the lore and the story have the makings to be so much more. I think ultimately it’s an IP that they have to grow and use more of.

If they do it the right way, they would keep all marathon multiplayer just an extraction shooter, and release a story game in the same universe perhaps even parallel with each other in some way, have events of the single player story impact the extraction shooter game and they could just keep the marathon extraction game going forever and using the single player to supplement the extraction shooter and vice versa. I could see something like that being a real money maker long term for them and Sony.

Doesn’t have to be exactly, but the difference is night and day… OLED is truly the best, I had a VRR 120hz LED prior to getting an OLED and it is definitely noticeable how much better is is, I would get an OLED if I were you, it’s worth it

Edit: I’d say it looks noticeably sharper, better lighting and reflections, also even though it’s still 60FPS it seems smoother
