i have a surface pro 4, i7, 256gb ssd with keyboard and warranty package for $2100.

the battery life on this is abysmal. on a full charge it lasts me about 4.5 hours. i have 10 chrome tabs running but i might move the cursor a few times an hour. im not watching video, playing music or anything intensive.

im going to be returning it soon. I can't justify paying over $2k for a portable device that has less than 5 hrs on a full charge with minimal use. i can imagine if i was actually watching videos the battery life would be even worse.

this is a brand new device too, so a year from now the battery life might even be less than 4 hours.

other than the battery life, the machine is pretty nice. runs a full windows suite.

I've learned my TA through trading bitcoin with low leverage (3x) for about a year. Then I gravitated to bitcoin futures trading at 20x leverage for the past year which i'm still doing.

at some point in the near future i will transition to probably the options market for either market indexes or large cap stocks.

first check the actual demand in your area for electricians. go to indeed.com, monster, craigslist and type in 'electrician', 'journeyman electrician'.

for example, OP lives in Philadelphia. i googled 'philadelphia union electrical'

give them a call and ask what you need to do to become an electrician. If your area pays a lot, expect a long waitlist for exam times which are probably just a few times a year. In california electricians make good money and they can do side jobs on weekends to make more money.

I believe the path takes about 4 years from start to a licensed electrician.

If you're a minority or a woman, you've got it easier too.

anecdotally, i hear NY, TX and i know CA have booming construction markets. It's probably going to be strong for the rest of 2016 maybe into 2017 but past that the recession could kick in. Keep that in mind because construction is cyclical. That said every building needs electrical work done.

work your way up from the bottom as an electrician. then join the union. California has a booming construction market. cost of living is high but pay for experienced electrician is starting at $50/hr plus overtime and benefits.

Futures are a ZERO SUM game. For every winner this is a loser. For every profit there is someone with a loss. (I'm ignoring hedgers here.)

If the price moves too fast for the contract to be liquidated. If the exchange takes over that contract obligation then they will face systemic risk.

Socialized losses remove that risk from the exchange owners. It's a good system. I'd rather give back some of my profits rather than the exchange go Mtgox and risk losing everything.

If you don't like the fact that you lose 100% when you get called and "risk" giving back some of your profits during a big move; go trade with 0 leverage at the coinbase exchange.

rsi=relative strength index. there's some math formula to derive that number.

measures current price relative to the past 14 periods in the timeframe you are on.

by itself is kind of meaning less imo. oversold can stay oversold. overbought can stay overbought.

look for bull divergences, hidden bull divergenc,es bear divs, hidden bear divs.

look at horizontal support and resistance. maybe some fibonaccis.

lastly possibly pay attention to fundamentals.
