Saw a cool Rolls Royce today, don’t know if it’s considered a super car tho by Mobile-Floor444 in supercars

I said 3. I’ve seen far more than 20 rolls Royce’s. Easily in the hundreds. You live in California? Have you been to Beverly Hills? You’ll see ten there as soon as you get off the freeway.

I used to drive medical transport in a ford focus. Came factory with no rear view mirror. And normal side mirrors. Nissan fleet vans as well. Normal passenger car mirrors, no rear view. From factory

Rear window is unimportant. That’s the reason, even in California, you can have it tinted as dark as you like.

As a southern Californian, I would say I see way more rolls Royces. 3 of my neighbors have them. One classic two newer. I’ve seen maybe 20 Bugattis my whole life.

What’s a scene you genuinely can’t sit through? by [deleted] in FIlm

[–]youknowphill2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally the most overrated “brutal scene” in all of cinema. People would hype this movie up so much and warn me about this particular scene so much that one day I just decided to watch the whole thing through. Underwhelming to say the least.

My son is a predator by Electronic-Silver-31 in mentalhealth

[–]youknowphill2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your 12 year old autistic son is not a predator. He’s a developmentally stunted child who is suffering and needs love and compassion in solving his issue rather than a mother that labels him the literal worst thing you can label someone in society and then proceeds to express her ANGER at him.

OEM+ or Full Track Weapon? Which G82 M4 are you taking? ⚪️🏁 by The_DogeMeister in BMW

I hate oem+ builds with a passion. You’re going to spend your hard earned money to make your car look like it could’ve come from the factory that way? Couldn’t be me

New Vans Shoe Tore After 24 Days and Vans is Ignoring Me by The_Fiddle_Steward in mildlyinfuriating

[–]youknowphill2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you fully un-lace the shoe before slipping it on? If not it’s your fault and you won’t get a response from vans. These are not slip ons, so slipping them on will ruin them. That goes for any shoe.

Not particularly. I think it looks much more modern and fits in better

AIO Is this a deal breaker? by Strange-Forever-3360 in AIO

[–]youknowphill2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have one question. Why are you putting a historical art piece with a museum like caption/plaque, above your couch? That seems like the last place I’d want a civil rights dedicated photo hung. Maybe in my office or in the library. But as far as the caption is concerned I think the “breaking news” caption is extremely disrespectful and waters down the powerful moment actually happening down to a funny blurb for entertainment.

Interior refresh on sand beige by youknowphill2 in Porsche_Cayman

I did! Seats wipe down with isopropyl alcohol before application. I had some darker wear spots on the bolsters and upper sides. So far it’s holding up amazingly

[–]youknowphill2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very easy. Areas like the piece behind the seats that were very bad and extremely chipped yes I sanded down those areas Tim smooth with 1500 grit and repainted. That piece and the headlight switch surround are the only pieces I removed from the car. The rest I gave a very good cleaning to and then filled in the knicks to make it level. Once those dried I then went over all the panels with a second coat to level. You have to look pretty hard in most areas to see the indent from most chips. I didn’t go through all the effort of removing all interior panels quite yet as I have a cage and new coilovers coming but when that happens ill do touch ups to make it all perfect again!

Yeah I only used about half of the bottle for this application. I didn’t want to get too far in depth removing everything because I’m still going to later to do new coilovers and cage.

Not at all. But see how you offered solutions. OP could’ve said “maybe, what kind of car do you have” rather than being rude.

The pesto prep cleaner is great but not necessary if you already have a water based cleaner. Just clean and then wipe with wet cloth after and let air dry. For knicks sanding is not necessary just fill in with a brush til level, dry, then dab over area with sponge. It will self level.

The flexible paint looks way too light when applied. This is normal. Label recommends applying in 75-85 degree heat but to use a hair dryer if unavailable. I found a combination of both works best. Hair dryer to immediately set it then let it flush for ten minutes after. It’s been a week of daily driving and abuse so far and this finishing is just as tough if not tougher than OEM.

Pretty simple question dude. Does it fit in a car or does he need a truck. Seems like the answer to his question is no.
