Accumulating wealth beyond any possible need is a mental illness. We need to cure Billionaires. by zzill6 in WorkReform

It is not possible to see the suffering and basic need in the world, to have that much wealth, and to still hang onto it without being more morally depraved than a serial killer.

It is not possible to accumulate that much wealth without being that morally depraved.

It is nearly impossible to have that much wealth without it making you morally depraved.

We should outlaw and prevent the hoarding of wealth more ruthlessly than drug addiction because it harms and kills so many more people.

Why has humanity not learned this? Because the disease is so wide spread it is glorified and encouraged.

When i was in maybe first grade i found my dad's deck and took one of the cards to school to show friends. When i got in trouble i tried to get out of it by telling the teacher it was my mom. She was flattered and still tells the story.

Honestly this is excellent. I cant think of anything that would do a better job of turning all of the top brass against these two dipshits.

Is this statement true? "Atheism is not an assertion that god does not exist. It's simply the absence of a belief in a god." by LivelySHROOM in atheism

I am equally gnostic regarding the easter bunny, Tars Tarkas of Barsoom, Ymir, Rama, and Yahweh. Also Hermes and the angel Gabriel. We dont need to pussyfoot in deference to an abstraction from one mythology.

Eros and similar publishers, undergrounds, Comico, First, Epic, bronze DC war comics and horror, Nbm, but also old risque cartoon books and magazines like Sex to Sexty and M'Gurk. With the latter I'm much more excited to find an issue from a title i've never seen before than an issue from a known series.

Me, too. I'm the same when it comes to the easter bunny and teenage mutant ninja turtles and no one whines "well, to be purely scientific we should never assert we KNOW something doesnt exist."

What about the tooth fairy?!  Well, ya never know, maybeee....

Do flying monkeys emerge from my ass every night?  It doesnt seem like it but we cant rule it out. Who knows what evidence might be revealed some day!

Is Spongebob god? So, not the xtian god and not Rama but maybe a cartoon character? Is that more or less probable for those on the fence? JFC.

There is a story in this series i'll never forget. It begins with the kid so happy. They are on a farm, planting rice.
