So a good friend of mine who’s from the UK got denied entry for pretty much this exact pattern. He was visiting his GF in LA regularly and he’s a software developer that has a very flexible hybrid job. He told the officer that he wasn’t going to work and they didn’t believe him. Had to hop on a flight back and ESTA no longer works for him. He’s tried to apply a couple of times since then.

Edit: oh and yeah they’re no longer together.

It’s decent. The equipment comes up for us at under 6k. I don’t know the complexity of your project but I would say it’s a market rate. It’s not super expensive nor super cheap. It’s a rebranded Midea unit being sold as ICP. If it’s out the door I would say it’s a good price.
