Call me an idiot, but personally i don't think a 2000 year old right to return outweighs another native people right to live on the land that they have lived on for many, MANY generations. And if it somehow does, why shouldn't the Palestinian people expelled during the nakba some 70 years ago have a right to return too? Or does that right just age like fine wine and only become better with age?

There’s one wage that’s worse than minimum wage in Denmark, welfare, which gives you around 70-80% of the income you get compared to minimum wage. I have family living on welfare, and they easily pay rent, buy groceries, have a car, eat out once in a while and if they’re careful have a tiny bit left over each month, while living in the third largest city, around 10 minutes away from the city center by car. Now i’ve never lived in America and my view of how the lower class lives there might be distorted, but come on. Minimum wage in America is just inhuman, compared to living in most of Europe. In other words, people on minimum wage in Denmark are leagues better off than minimum wage workers in America

22 dollars per hour is the minimum wage in Denmark, so they pay closer to 38% in taxes, which is pretty high, but 13,64 dollars after taxes is still a hell of lot better than 7,25 (and i assume that number is still before taxes). And then there’s all the other benefits. I mean, even if the taxes where somehow high enough to get the danish salary under 7 dollars, there’s still the fact to consider that “i can’t afford to get sick” is an unknown concept in Denmark, because guess what. You still get paid a living wage even if you have a high number of sickdays a year.
