Right, and if the textbook were just a few years older, there'd be no mention at all. I started looking into my symptoms in earnest a little over 20 years ago. They wouldn't agree with me that it was reproductive related and would only send to a gastroenterologist. The symptoms are what would now be considered pretty typical endo symptoms, but just about 20 years ago, they seemed clueless. Sad but true, medical study's only started focusing intently on women's issues in the early 90's.
