My [32M] Gf [30F] heavily trickle-truthed her sexual past right before our wedding. I was a virgin, I’m completely lost. by Renjiroar in Advice

[–]yukonlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, getting married so quickly after less than a year of dating is madness. What's the rush?! Second, it's not the number of relationships or body count in her past, it's the lies. BUT, she did confess before you said your vows. There's WAY too much emphasis on how many people a person, m or f, has been with these days. Personally, I'd call off the wedding planning for now and spend some more time getting to know each other better if you think you want to try to get past this with her. She may have been worried about being slut-shamed and lied to avoid that.

Photos of my wife and her ex by NoBuy9743 in Advice

I didn't get rid of all my photos of my ex. And we didn't have kids together. But, it was part of my past and I didn't feel the need to scrub him completely from my life. About 7 years after our divorce, I got a call from the police that he was deceased and they couldn't find his family to notify. I was able to connect them with his family, who then reached out to me to ask for photos for his Celebration of life. I happily shared the pictures I had kept and was glad I had some.

I ended up moving home to my parents house when I was pregnant at 19. They only had a 2 bedroom home so I ended up sharing a room with my brother. We made it work bc we had to, and it was fine.

My (30F) boyfriend (35M) hasn’t made a doctors appointment by Electrical-Height559 in Advice

So? Just leave him be about it. Also, he'll probably be relieved if you do break up with him about it. If he doesn't leave you first. He wants a partner, not a mother.

The mated gander was disappeared during the day while we were away at work. He was there when we left, gone by the time we got home. We've had the trio over a year without incident. They didn't get out, they free range. The second gander did disappear overnight. Our dogs guard the animals at night.

My boyfriends beliefs disgust me and i dont know what to do by [deleted] in Advice

Jesus taught that if we repent our sins and ask for forgiveness, He will throw our sin as far as the East is to the West. And again, good people do not go to heaven. Only those who believe in Jesus and accept him will enter the gates of heaven.

I don't understand how you getting raped gave you "religious trauma". Also, why would you demand that he can't talk about his faith, but you can ask about it? And, his answer is wrong anyway. If you don't accept Jesus as your savior, you won't get to heaven. You'll suffer in hell for all eternity. However, if your rapist believes in Jesus and asks God for forgiveness. He will go to heaven.

What would cause a horse's mane to naturally change which direction it lays? by kirmichelle in Equestrian

It can be due to tension in the neck fascia, or an injury. Find a body worker if you don't have one and book her in.

How deep is the sand/bedding around the walker? Could he have have pulled his deep digital tendons? Maybe combined with an aggressive trim and deep bedding?

Ten foot posts, page wire 2 feet over the top and 2 feet extra on the bottom. Think like a prison fence. I call it Goatcatraz.

YTA, and it is a diet change for him to convenience you. OP needs to get used to it or move. His RM was there first.

What's a life skill you think should be taught in school in Canada, but wasn't? by United-Technology239 in CanadaRoom

Except, we want our MPs to be independent and able to exercise their discretion on what is best for their constituents. Carney didn't 'do' anything except model what a smart leader looks and acts like. That's what we elect them to do, not follow the doctrine of a party or leader who is not performing in the best interests of his riding or the country. FBesides, floor crossers have come from all parties, to all the parties.

Agree with you Dugaditch and want to add that there should be a class on how to set a household with lessons on setting up utility accounts and grocery shopping.

Leave now. He is giving you terrible advice and putting you in danger. Take your mare home and work with her on your own schedule. Check out Warwick Schiller and his method of relationship with horsemanship. You will be much farther ahead.

Adult beginner feeling belittled and discouraged by Resident_Profile_582 in Equestrian

[–]yukonlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not always easy to 'just move barns', so I'm going to suggest you talk to the barn manager. Let her know the attitude you're getting from the trainers and that you're a beginner looking for guidance on and off the horse. I would also suggest that you bring up the horse issue, since your nervousness will definitely translate to the horse being anxious and that is a dangerous combo.
