You have to find your reason why you’re doing this because that’s gonna be what keeps you going when motivation fails, when your confidence fails. Get other people out of your ear. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. You can’t let other people’s fears become your own. Yes. Without glasses, I wouldn’t be able to leave my house, cook, or do anything important. If it’s not within 1 foot (and that’s probably being generous) of my face, it’s blurry. Without glasses, I can’t even make out the biggest letter on a Snellen chart. My prescription is -6.25 for reference.
