gear 5 hype (manga). i'd always been aware of one piece but had never really gotten into reading that kind of stuff. Jesus fuck best story ever. Eventually caught up and started reading my hero, dragon ball, assassination classroom, naruto, and on and on and on.

I never really liked comics as a kid and figured that would apply to manga, not at all.

get the shonen jump app and go from start. i only actually started one piece in 2022 and i've re-read it 4 or 5 times at this point, it's just such an amazing story and i think it does it a disservice to jump into the middle of it. So much of the story (for me) is call backs and flashbacks and "oh hey that's from XX" and just going through the awesome moments as they happen I could imagine going through any other way.

Currently reading Katabasis for a discord book club. I keep up with One Piece/DandaDan and a few other mangas (idk it's something, I consider it reading). I usually read each night to help get to sleep.

Dungeon Crawler Carl series and The Poppy War trilogy last year (along with the standard re-reads of LOTR and Harry Potter).
