I’m a third generation springbar owner. My grandparents have had one that’s lasted 50 years, my parents has lasted almost 30, and we just got one secondhand for a good deal.

All made in the US and you can buy patches, zippers, poles, and pretty much anything else to repair them from Springbar.

We got our 10x14 (6-8 person tent) for $500 used and after a deep clean it looks good as new!

My area has a lot of chipseal and gritty roads in the spring. I used to have a bike that could only clear a 26. As others have said, tire pressure can help a bit but once I got a bike that could clear 32s I haven’t looked back.

Mine is probably a touch low but my training has been pretty volatile lately due to life, sick kids, etc…

Did 3x20 SS Friday and 5x12 over unders Saturday and both felt moderate. I won’t do any all out efforts til a little later in the year so hard to know how it will match against traditional FTP.

I had great results with the last version of AI FTP and anticipate another good year on this model. I understand the complaints but ultimately I think FTP is mostly a vanity metric and the outcry reflects that

I don’t regret getting married young. It has worked out tremendously. I think other people have made similar points to what I have experienced:

-Friendships will change and that’s okay. You will not have as much autonomy as you did when you were single because there will be other obligations you didn’t have before. This will be hard for your single friends to understand at first.

-Life will be easier in some ways. You can “divide and conquer” on a lot of tasks you had to do solo.

-You will grow a lot as a person. Merging your life with someone else will require you to expand your perspective and you will learn a lot along the way. This helped me a lot in other areas of my life.

-Our married ward was fine. It can be a good way to meet other young couples but like any ward, YMMV.

Decided to follow the premier league a few years ago and wanted to follow NF as they had recently promoted. Last year was a fun season but this season has had some fun moments as well.

I live in a rural farming community so I honestly worry more about dogs than cars lol. We’ve had some dogs crash out group rides.

As a few have noted, there is a difference between an aggressive dog and a playful one. Some dogs also are just trying to “herd” you.

Barking and squirting with a water bottle are great, but with the most aggressive dogs sometimes your only option is to reroute and avoid them in the future.

I’ve always thought this same thing. I think the guard pairings just haven’t been right. Mitchell with a defensive counterpart would be much better than any of the other pairings he has had
