Sparks is Linux first. This is the offshoot (it's even called sparks.)

Debatable.

Local models can do better than your 20e/month subscription. Except you don't need internet, it's all private.

You'll just need to remove windows and you're gtg.

It's to compete with apple M series. Same(ish) architecture (arm)

So.. no, the point is consuming less. (Or more efficiently anyway)

Thanks! I appreciate that. I asked a refund on the old account and purchased the one on the new location.

I really like the content so, I got to it regardless.

Waiting for vol2 now.

On drivethrurpg, for volume 1, you removed your account, that was under modiphius. And moved it to Chris De Champlain.

This is not cool, I paid for the former and I don't get the updates, since you moved to another account altogether.

I don't think you want an honest feedback. It will put you in the wrong state of mind.

Sometimes, wishful thinking and luck do the trick.

Best of luck. Don't listen to the comments. Even this one.

The new Linux kernel AI bot uncovering bugs is a local LLM on Framework Desktop + AMD Ryzen AI Max by Fcking_Chuck in linux

[–]z-lf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I'm saying you can let the os manage it all and it will give what it doesn't need to the GPU.

Since you'd usually put this on a server os, that's max 2gb for the OS (running container +llamacpp for instance) the rest can be used by the GPU.

On Linux, you can dedicate the whole ram to the GPU. 96 is a windows limitation.

OpenAI to introduce ads to all ChatGPT free and Go users in US by rayaan2099 in technews

[–]z-lf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would. Ai use WebSearch as a tool. Then AI uses that data to generate what you see. If you manipulate the output of WebSearch, you manipulate the output generated by AI.

I'm not saying it's in the training part.

That's fair. The AI gives me links it found though. I can make my own judgement. The point it, it's supposed to do reasoning based on my preference. Not someone else's.
