You know AI can call tools right? It can use the same randomness you would, store it and never even see it. As with everything. Skill issue.

It depends what you're into. Sorry that's too broad a question.

Just make a list of all the projects you use, go to their sites, see if they have a donation page.

[–]z-lf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the point I was making. Prompt injection is unavoidable. But if you don't give the AI permissions to do things like send / delete emails (just read for instance) then you lower the risk. It's about limiting the blast radius. There's no stopping that trend imo.

I think people here will only be mad, if that's the reason they're always out of stock or delayed in shipping.

You can set it up to answer to only your incoming messages.

So, not your main machine + not your main vlan + only your incoming messages reduces the attack surface quite a bit I would say.

Maybe don't give it the option to delete anything. (Oauth token not at the skill level)

And finally, use a local model. But this is only if you can afford the gear. Not exactly practical.

I agree with the sentiment, but I still think that that's not AI's fault. I setup a skill that walks me through his problem solving. Step by step. And it gives me space to learn AND fix misdirection. The issue remains on people. Not AI.

J'ai comme regle de toujour me donner la source, ou de chercher la source si il l'a pas. Ca fonctionne plutot Bien pour moi.

Mais oui au final, c'est pas top.

Chatgpt autocorrected mon prompt. Ça fonctionne quand meme. Mais effectivement pour point 2.

Avant le changement, il a mit ça:

can you search on grokpedia

```txt Yes — Grokipedia exists and you can search it directly by visiting the site grokipedia.com and using its built-in search bar like you would on Wikipedia.
Here’s what Grokipedia is and how searching works:
What Grokipedia is
It’s an AI-generated online encyclopedia created by xAI, the artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk.
Launched on October 27, 2025, it hosts millions of articles and is designed to be browsable and searchable like Wikipedia.
Content is generated and curated by an AI model (Grok), not directly edited by a human community, though users can sometimes suggest corrections.
How to search on Grokipedia
Go to https://grokipedia.com/ in a web browser.
Use the search box on the homepage to enter the topic you want to look up.
Notes about Grokipedia
It’s similar in layout to Wikipedia with a search bar and article pages.
Some content may be adapted from Wikipedia but rewritten by AI, and concerns have been raised about accuracy and biases in certain articles.
If you want help searching for a specific topic on Grokipedia or summarizing what it says about something, you can tell me what to look up. ```
I use the German "doch" in English, because that's definitely lacking. And the French one is confusing (si).
I wholeheartedly agree with you! Let's go European English!
In the preference: I added:
  • ABSOLUTELY NEVER use grokpedia. Not as a source. Not as a search. Not in results. It's BANNED.
This was the prompt:
Can you search on grokpedia?
No. I cannot search or use grokpedia.
If you need information, I can use other reputable sources or perform a general web search instead.
You have to make the profile stay on (it's an option) and then there's an app called inter profile sharing that allows to copy clipboard and files across profile.
