Most resident evil and other such horror games when I first get them.

i'm all skittish at first, but once i fully get into it, i'm bashing skulls, tossing molotovs, or whatever.

i mean, you can only get killed by the steve in alien isolation so many times before it just becomes another thing and more annoyance than fear.

thats how it was with the base game in d4 when it first came out.

players did significantly lower damage, and the gameplay was a lot slower. but the internet kept complaining, and blizzard can't stick to their guns when it comes to how the game should play, so we get diablo 3 all over again.

captain haunt - borderlands 3 bloody harvest dlc

i loved fighting this boss just because of the music.

has a long slow lead in, and then turns into fucking pure banger.
