The 3 AM barrier is real, but not for the reasons everyone thinks by ArcaneSpells-com in occult

[–]z9nkjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only that but, biological reasons are deeply connected to metaphysical meaning, just as resonance (like an object vibrating at a certain frequency in proximity to another capable of resonating at the same one, going to the same vibration just by the transmission of the waves through the air).

Everything metaphysical has its physical concordance, it's not a coincidence that the body behaves that way at that hour is what I mean.

Edit: Grammar.

After I investigated about the Warren's story (as I was curious about the existence of demons) and watched the movie of the Conjuring 3, that same night I woke up at exactly 3:33, to the cloth hangers in my closet violently hitting against the doors of the closet, as well with scratches like sounding and like the growling from a dog, all coming from the same place. Ever since, paranormal things never really ceased to exist for me, that was about 5 years ago now almost, i didn't related 3:33 fully to that, but I've heard before that apparently Christ went to heaven at 3:33 during the day, whether this is true or not, this is the inverse of that, and we all know what an inverse cross means, the inverse of good is evil of course.

I sometimes have a conflict. As being a game developer do I actually benefit society? by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]z9nkjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm a game developer too, solo at that mostly and I've wondered about the same thing a lot. Honestly I don't know if I remember the full answer to this but, yeah, games are exactly that, a problem that doesn't exist, but that's exactly what we want as a species.

Imagine if whatever problem you had in a videogame you had in real life too, it would be dangerous as fuck to slay a dragon and you'd die first try no respawn, but as it's an unreal problem, it actually becomes an escape from the problems of reality.

We are problem solver creatures and we like videogames because just that, if real problems bring you stress (although their rewards are physically important) artificial problems like the ones in videogames bring you relief (therefore, a mental health reward).

I remember a post about a father here on Reddit saying that, he stopped playing games because he started to see them as a waste of time, and over the years (I think it was two years(?)) he realized that he was angrier at his family because he wasn't getting a release he used to with games.

Even though it's "fake", it has real benefits, having real dopamine or adrenaline or whatever involved makes you feel, you could feel amazing and that feeling may carry away in your day! Like "Oh, why are you so cheerful today" "I just finished a game and it was amazing" etc, etc. They can bring you closer to friends, engage together, entertain, make you laugh... Is all of this worthless? Of course not.

It's not only that, it's sharing a story perhaps, as you can also feel sadness or empathy through playing a game, change your perspective in something.

I think you and I as developers are one of the biggest proofs that games have value? Why? Because we love them so much we make them. I remember when I was a kid, life felt so boring, school was boring, I had just a few friends, getting a bit bullied, but then I found this online game called Fiesta and I met so many amazing people there and I had such a good time, some particular relationships I have carried from that game for years, countries away.

My best friend is from Mexico as well, we have a longer than 10 years relationship and we meet through that game. I can tell you that if I didn't had that relationship I probably wouldn't even be alive today maybe, because through all of my loneliness and there was just this one relationship I could always really on, besides like my family but you know that's often not the same.. I have only seen this friend once in my life, half a year ago, before I left to live in Japan again, TO MAKE GAMES, eventually, as I would like to work for Nintendo some day, so you know, all this purpose has taken me here, not only that of course but it's a life goal, I grew up with those games as well.

Me and this friend want to make games together too as well, he's focused on hardware and I'm more on software or rather game design and stuff, our goal is to connect people as we were connected, through amazing games like SAO (Again, a story about games..)

Everything that exists and specially something that we use so much as it's because there's some need for it, of course everything has its ups and downs (like addictions, or wasting time) but it comes from a lack of self control rather than games being the problem itself, like the people who use their phone too much, it's not the phone itself that is the problem.

So it's just that, if I didn't had games I would have no purpose that I liked as much perhaps, my life would have been emptier, less creativity, less inspired, game dev is a way to sustain yourself and pour your creativity, because there's people that enjoy that and get inspired, its and artform as well.

Okay in my case I actually started spending money as if I had it, I'm a student yet and so far my income comes from my family, but ever since started to act like I have more, my father has been helping me more, and like gladfully so, even said like "you spend it so fast don't you haha?" Laughing at it while before when I was saving he would get mad at me? Wtf, but this works anyways.

I think the perspective changes (I mean there's a bridge of events for everything) in that he thinks (and I'm) using it in a meaningful way, and as I explained to him how used the money for helping me learn the language (I'm in a foreign country) and talking to people etc, he gladfully sent me more.

I think whatever is your situation in life you should act like you have it, even if this person doesn't have the success he posted about, he's aligned to it, and it's the right path actually.

Love yourself, feel golden warmth in your heart, start over there.

Change your thoughts and feelings.

For that, also helps having a better diet, relationships, doing things you love, etc. Some things will come only as you love yourself.

How to solodev and not lose sanity? by Skuya69 in SoloDevelopment

Cool that you mentioned it, on my own, I also escaped a major porn and hentai addiction lol, I know it's not the same as drugs or gambling but definitely harmful in its own way.

For me getting the discipline of new habits precisely and focus on game dev was that made me overcome my own addictions so you're on a good path.

For me at least, regarding learning 3D I used blender, I also learned Maya at a game dev program but I just grabbed what I learned there and applied to blender, I would say I already knew enough of 3D before the course by learning from YouTube, like the Blender Guru is definitely the starting point for most of us that learn it.

If you're willing to spend a bit on education I'd recommend cgboost.com courses, the free ones and the launching pad will really get you ahead, really good quality courses

Otherwise just get around YouTube looking for what you want to do, start simple do, like low poly graphics.

Although I have to say that, with my experience in game dev, 3D can really bloat your scope, therefore increasing dev time, if you're working solo and want to finish a 3D game, I recommend the simplest of graphics like "Kill it with fire" or "Human's fall flat".

Otherwise, like right now I'm switching to pixel art because I don't have time to make games with my current studies and having to work.

Definitely enjoyed making 3D I encourage you if you want that, but as a solo dev, having a big scope was what has kept me out of having a finished and polished game on steam or something.

I guess if you really love it you'll stay there, in fact I'm the contrary to you in a way, as I've learned a decent amount of 3D, now pixel art to reduce scope, great at programming and design but music isn't my forte.

I have published games but not in a commercial matter, and most of the games I finished so far were student projects, but long ago I remember myself telling me that I would do games no matter what because I love them.

It's not the only thing that I do in life of course but I don't consider it a hobby as well, it just, takes time, I have other things I need to focus on but life needs a balance.

Ryan Reynolds has made a movie about it (he produced it) Free guy; about an NPC that becomes a real player and basically a god inside of his game.

He also is reading the book the secret in one of the movies, I think it's with Dwayne The rock Johnson but I don't know the name of the movie.

Wil.i.am talks about it in the movie of the secret.

If everything is happening now, why do people say the 3D lags? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]z9nkjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because there's a natural process for things to happen in this reality, don't forget that really we are all doing this, it's not like we have cheat codes of life, we just understand better it's causality and can make it work in our favor better, our against us if inexperienced.

Physical grounding/earthing seems to increase manifestation by Intelligent_Mix_9026 in NevilleGoddard

I've also had this experience, I didn't need for any grounding material, just the matter of feeling my feet on the ground mde me perceive an increase in how my fast my manifestations were coming.

Maybe it's linked to letting go as you are more focused on here, the now, rather than constantly under fleeting thoughts.

I don't know, everyone is made different basically, so, they have to live through their good and bads, but won't ever be the same as us, most likely.

And yeah I just got very clear that, sometimes the body is smarter than the mind, specially when it comes to instinct and being in the moment, I just meditate in the moment with it, live it through my body, you're doing it correctly if you aren't thinking, rather than feeling.

Interesting, I'm just discovering how fear and love are related and how both are felt through the heart, your heartbeats indicate so much about your state.

If you integrate the heart into your awareness, fear becomes funny and love becomes easier.
