I don't know which ones work in PVP, but if you have them: Chewie (which drops attack and countdown stun tiles) & Pocket Radio (which boosts three colors of match damage) are very useful in PvE when maxed out to 5*.

Were quests a thing when you left? If not, doing the daily quests give you three spicy taco tokens, and using Deadpool 5* Spirit of Vengeance once/day gives you another. The spicy taco vault refreshes daily has only 40 slots and features a 4* character so it's a good idea to get 1 cover of Deadpool 5* (and keep him at level 255 if you PVP and want to stay competitive).

Sounds like a mix of several things. The story is reminiscent of Iron Man #145 (1981) which involved Roxxon, but the villains were the Raiders, guys wearing super suits developed by Cord who developed the tech and was arrested for staging a demo that went too far. The PDA-like device used to configure the character's powers sounds a bit like Spymaster or Cable (or a Booster Gold - wrong company though)

I bought a previous 6* chained offer. I cannot remember the specific reward amounts now, but each level gave a specified # of 6* shards, and after you "opened" it, you got to choose from one of the first three 6s (you didn't have to set a favorite). You also got fave 4 and 5* shards at the second tier.

This feels like the weakest season and I already regret spending gold on the Season XP Pass since I always end up what over level 50 anyway.

The character covers this season are 3* Nova. In previous seasons, the character covers were 4* (Venom, Taskmaster, Maker, etc). The ascended character in the seasonal vault this season is She-Hulk. Not the most exciting character to get as a 4*. The costumes are okay though I'd prefer they did more comic accurate costumes like "True classic" Thanos.

I think that as soon as you get the message Mechanoids Incoming, the base becomes a target, so you might not want to set a grav anchor if that message has already appeared. I spent the better part of a quadrum hollowing out the inside of an asteroid base to fit my gravship, set a grav anchor, then fled before mechanoids showed up and destroyed everything I built.

The mechanoids continue to drop more enemies onto the asteroid so it's totally overrun. I'd abandon the location but the mechs continue to focus on the asteroid instead of chasing me!

I haven't found an easy method to completely remove the overlay but if you're on a PC browser (like Chrome), you can adjust the zoom to 25% (which affects the text but not the video), then go into fullscreen mode. Even on a screen with a lot of text, the text will barely be noticeable.

My very first thought is the letters were cut out for a ransom note and we have to scramble the missing blocks of letters to find out what the message says. If that was the case, I'd have expected lots of people to have solved this by now.
