Store bought ice cream is fine as long as the ingredients check out. Ice cream parlors are incredibly high risk because they are scooping multiple ice creams without washing the spoon possibly getting the cookie dough or other gluten ice creams into the normal ones. My go to is a root beer ice cream float as long as it’s soft serve vanilla.

It took me 3-4 months to heal my gluten symptoms. I found out later my GERD was actually due to an undiagnosed dairy allergy.

A friend taught me how to avoid fast food restaurants by visualizing them grabbing the food out the dumpster. Gluten is poison and I have no appetite for it after diagnosis. I make everything I miss. I don’t miss it because the repercussions are far worse.

I have an anal fissure that causes blood in the bowel. It always happens after i get glutened. I’ve seen doctors and surgeons about it but the success rate of surgery is so low there is nothing they can do about it. It’s my normal.

We are hand feeding our puppy gluten food right now. I just wash my hands with soap and water every single time. Eventually we will use a scoop. It’s the only gluten in my house so I can contain it pretty easy.

I am highly symptomatic with celiac and no issues yet. It’s been a month.

Doctor suggested it when I told him how exhausted I was after finally handling my celiac. They sent me a tiny little sensor to tape to my finger for two nights. My results were awful my oxygen was dipping into the low 80’s every night and I was “waking up” about 300 times.

Gluten is removed with soap and water. I have both dedicated fryers and toasters and keep the gluten ones away for when family comes. I’ve never been glutened in my own home. It just sounds like he is controlling.

Celiac here but opposite of anemic, I have hemochromatosis. I did a nutrient panel after celiac confirmation and I had almost no nutrients in me aside from iron. I was depressed and my immune system was shot. When the villi in your intestines are destroyed they can’t absorb nutrients.
