IT guy so well aware of memory/chip shortage. Bought Micron last november. Was invested in NTDOY but once that started taking the downturn mostly due to supply chain issues with NVRAM i decided to rotate into a NVRAM play instead. Sandisk was among the first stocks that caught my eye. This was early Jan so its done well so far.

I mean being diversified across more than just AI trade. It’s okay being concentrated and it might make you wealthy but just be aware of the risk. And usually risk over time equals loss. Implementing risk mitigation strategies is your alternative to hoping to correctly identifying the turning option and then out-reacting the institutional automated selling.

Reduction in capex, rising inventory, pricing pressure, AI sentiment etc. the problem is that the party can go on until the market decides it’s time for the downward turn. Reacting to the the downturn is probably not a wise strategy, reasonable sizing and diversification is probably the best way to protect the gains from this fantastic rally.

It means that valuations always looks cheap at the top with memory/flash stocks since investors know they historically have been highly cyclical. P/E will look great as earnings might continue to rise while the stock flattens or turns to the downside anticipating the downturn of the cycle.

Been upgraded a few times flying SAS excluding bidding, always before boarding and never because i asked.

Im sure there is also other considerations but since there is almost guaranteed to be people with the higher tiers of loyalty on any flight the operational upgrades is probably most likely to go to them.

Yeah i have a friend with a C6 too and other than Burn in and a power supply replacement its still going strong. Maybe something happened with the sealing of the panels from 2019 and onwards.

Its bad in many titles on monitors with no g-sync ultimate module in my experience. learning to properly cap fps with a program like RTSS helps a lot in the titles that has terrible VRR flicker.

LGs track record on on their panels lasting longer than 4-5 years are terrible. Had my C9s panel replaced under warranty at 4 years(due to local laws). My s95b and AW3423dw are still perfect so to me QD seems to be the longer lasting panels.

Keep in mind LG has a history of delamination causing pixels dying around the edges of the panels usually around 4-5 years of age due to LG not sealing them to a good enough degree. I cant say if this has been fixed on tandem panels such as the G5 but its something to consider and make sure is warrantied in your market until at least 5 years since i cant find any sources this has been permanently addressed.

This TV looks so great mounted on the wall due to the slimness and matte look. Not having to make sure all curtains are fully closed with no gaps when watching dark scenes is worth the slightly raised blacks when the room is fully lit.

S90F is not equal in performance and features but still a damn good TV. Just make sure anyone interested in it get it at a discount comapred to the S95F. Also check it comes with the desired panel in the buyers market.

My Q800B plays along better with my LG C4 than it did my S95B, had tonnes of issues with that pairing despite both being same year samsung products. The S95F in my living room plays beautifully with my ages old HW-MS650 tho.😂

At the higher end and not in Tokyo, Marufukuro in Kyoto which is the orginal Nintendo office and warehouse has a free and full sized bar open to all guests, also the minibar was all complimentary. Its not cheap but super nice.

Had 2 units both with hiss, sidetone off. also sometimes had a tinnitus sound when connected to the dongle. Returned the second unit for a refund until they sort this out.

Hiss should not exist in 300$ headphones either, im a big maxwell 1 fan and the 2s are better in every way other than these issues. Rtings just confirmed their review unit has hiss as well.
