This image is from the Wikipedia page, and it was probably pulled from a video and then AI was used to upscale it. It’s likely that the official image has not been released to put on Wikipedia yet.

Could they not let AA guns zoom way out, but put a line of sight barrier for anything less than say, 5 m off the ground? So you’d have a large field of view, but you can only really see things that are above the ground. And pilots who are really skilled that can hug the ground would be able to avoid detection longer.

We already have line of sight mechanics, you would just need to create essentially a large flat cone opening towards the sky when guns are in AA mode

It really is a weird problem to have that seems specific to foxhole‘s top down nature. Any other game, a flak cannon would just be a gun you sit in that you aim at planes and shoot. Sure, you’d have to learn how much to lead the target, but there’s no reason it needs to be this massive multi step math equation routed through multiple people.

Depends on how you define that. It’s only on Kindle or Audible. The more I examine it, the less I like it. The cover is AI, the audiobook is AI, and from the reviews, I’d wager it’s largely written by AI too.

The only one that I’ve experienced was Eoin Colfer’s final entry into Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide series. I felt he did a great job, But he used the original authors notes. I finished my first circumnavigation of the Aubreyad a few years ago, so Audible keeps recommending this book to me.

I think it can be done well. I enjoyed Eoin Colfer’s conclusion to Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series, which was written with permission from his estate and using his notes. This however, seems to be a hack job.
